- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- The campus area is small so we have to manage that.
- The hostel capacity is also less so all students so not get hostel.

Placement Experience:
Placement here is really good in our branch as compared to other colleges. Here average package is 10 lpa. And the placement is higher in branch like computer science and information technology. And almost 80 percent student got placed

Highest package in my college is 66 lakh
And average package is 10 lakh in my branch
90% student had placed in my branch in this year

- The college provide better placement which i like most and the campus is smaller that i like least .
- And also there is lot of exposure like in i-cell fest (avhinaya) some speaker session and some top industralist, they said about there jouney.
- And a lot of cultural activites are also active in the college like nritym, raaga, ethices, sanskriti etc.
Dislikes
- There is a lot problem for student because the hostel has limited seats of accomadation. so that student need to stay out of college.
- The classes schedule is very busy in the first year so that we get less time enjoy with our branchmates collegeous .
- sometime the faculties behave rudely to the students but all faculties help student to improve their skills.
Placement Experience:
The 7th semester students are allowed to appear in placement cell. there are a number of companies visiting college to recurite us. such as adobe , nation with namo , phonepe, L&T, adani groups, TCS, Wipro, Tatasteel, EXL services etc .
and vedenta limted like compnies recurite maximum aroud (14 student from mining itself).
the highest package of 2023 is 55 lpa by adobe. and the average package is 7lpa. About 75% of student got placement this year. I would like to have good job in core placement . and a good package.

- Campus is overall good . The first day I came for admission that time I was unaware about whole campus but now it is very well maintained.. The environment is good .
- The campus is in the main city only . We don't have to go far away to buy something, everything is available around the college campus.
- All faculty are very good .they help students with very good interest .
Dislikes
- There are limited hostel in the campus for students. Those who didn't get hostel have to stay in the pg or room near the college only.
- Classes scheduled are very busy for some branches in 1st year .
- Sometimes the faculty are rude to the students .
Placement Experience:
If I Am not wrong from sixth semester you are eligible for placement .companies come in the end of the third year and recruitment process is begin for non core core field . There are many companies who visit aur college for placement. Such as vadanta , Amazon ,TCS ,adobe ,etc. The highest package was offered this year 2023 is 55 lakh per annum by adobe company. The average package is 8 LPA. 75% students are getting placed this year.
After getting the degree I wanted to pursue for higher studies.

- I like the hostel facility and also the explore I got lost of opportunity to explore in my first year
- I like the sports opportunity I got here
- I like seniors of my college because they are interactive and help whenever we need them
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of college is not good enough
- There are lot of restrictions in the college which I don't like
- The faculties are not a very much good enough and they don't teach properly
Placement Experience:
The overall placement percentage of the college is good in a and is about 90% and the average package of placement is about 10 lpa and almost average student got selected in placement and sum of them of for their higher studies for example MBA or M.Tech

- Sports culture is nice . Annual sports fest is organized which I enjoyed much
- Campus is very green. It has a central garden which is very much beautiful.
- It provided me opportunity to make new friends.
Dislikes
- I belong to home state so I didnt get the hostel . Because there is shortage of hostel.
- There are many labs which have damaged equipments.
- Sports ground is small , so we have to adjust with it .
Placement Experience:
Our college provides many opportunities for on campus placement. Officially after completion of 6th semester students are eligible to apply for on campus placement. Many students had got pre placement offer in 3rd year from microsoft company with whopping package of 55 lpa . Highest package offered was 55 lpa and average package of 10 lpa.

Placements are excellent for metallurgy branch students of my branch are selected in both core and non core field . If I doesn't get placed i will try for gate exam to get a job in psu or I will try for railways .

The chemical placement in college and it Raipur is very much good and the placement percentage ratio is also very good which makes me to join this college in the chemical branch engineering the curriculum is very well it is from easy to moderate your anyone can study the teaching method of the teachers are very good faculty here are very good whose explanation are very good and which provide great concept by their explanation

- There is not much hostel for the available students this is big isssue
- The infrastructure can be better and the playground maintenance is not according to expectation
- Small campus and hostel facilities are also little bad
Course Curriculum Overview:
In chemical engineering in NIT Raipur there is good placement good faculty member and also good packages for BTech students.
The curriculum prepares you for Real world application or further academic pursuits by conducting virtual placements interviews time by time. The area of improvements in the course curriculum are there should be more precise experiment kits.

Placement Experience:
Placements records are really good in my college as it provide very good placements not only in non core but also in core branches of mechanical and electrical also you got internship in many industries field. Ig provide 11 lakh + average package in electronic branch.

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
