- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- I liked the locality of the campus it is located in the mid City so everything is easily accessible
- Vehicles are allowed in the campus so no need to worry for the transportation
- Railway station attached to the campus itself

- Sports complex and grounds are either under construction or not maintained properly
- Only from second year we get lecture theatre instead of normal classroom
- Faculties in the labs are rude sometimes
Placement Experience:
There is a very good opportunity in the campus placement of the college. There are opportunities from the 3rd year for pre placement offers. Companies like Deloitte, DBOI, Amazon, Infosys etc.
Generally companies which are tech based allow students only above 7 CGPA.

- a very good placement in all the branches
- seniors of our college are really helpful
- being a nit i get the oppurtunity to study with the best mind of our countruy
Dislikes
- many south people of our collage are arrogant and not very friendly
- bad infrastructre is also a major problem of our collage
- sports facilities are really bad no football ground
Placement Experience:
our collage have a very decent college placement with an average placement of 11 lpa overall and Adobe being one of the top recruiter and the best thing of our collage is that it has decent placement in every branch

- Our college is spread in very big area with beautiful garden.
- Whole year there occur many fest which is very entertaining.
- In our brach we have very good faculties and our class atmosphere is also good.
Dislikes
- As it is a government college so groupsare made according to states.
- In our college there are very less sports facilities.
- Hostel facilities are not adequate so we have to take private flats.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In first year we have two semesters. Which consists of a mid semester practical examination followed by mid semester practical. After that we have end semester practical examination and than same end sem theory.

- The campus is too small there are not enough hostel for students.
- The hostels are provided on the basis of category.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is good enough. Firstly in 1st year there is basic courses like maths 1 and 2, physics1 and 2 ,ecology, applied chemistry , engineering mechanics, engineering graphics,value education,yoga ,etc.

- It is a campus that is very use and can accommodate any sports event
- It has three canteens vachan outlet and main canteen named bihaan and Amul parlour and a coffee day shop which is behind the amul parlour so there are lots of things to eat
- The infrastructure in this college is very good
Dislikes
- We have to walk more to get into our class because the parking is far away from college it takes about 10 minutes to reach from parking to college
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum includes a 5 day schedule which includes all the subjects equally.It gives a good idea of the corporate world as the schedule is designed in that way.There are exams conducted in two parts a mid sem and an end sem with the practicals respectively

- Placements were very good and a major reason for joining this college
- Campus life is very chill and laidback and regular fests help us in enjoying it.
- Faculty's behaviour, the faculties are very supportive and helpful to the students.
Dislikes
- Long lectures are the things that I dislike about this college
- Unavailability of hostels is a major issue for the college.
- Assignments: Lots of assignments increase the workload on students.
Placement Experience:
Students belonging to the 5th semester are eligible for campus placements. They can apply themselves and companies choose the suitable candidates that they can hire and offer PPO to so that they can pick those candidates as early as possible. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS visit the campus and make their offers. Highest package offered was 43 Lakh and the average was 9 Lakh for the MCA course that I'm pursuing. Almost 90% students were placed in the process. My plans are not really clear right now but I'll hope to go to the teaching job after this degree.

- College is very greeny.There are two gardens also in our college.For sport there are two huge ground basketball court and e two open ground in college there are volleyball court and badminton court also in our college.There is plantation backside.
Placement Experience:
Considering all NIT's package here is decent. Phonepe,D.E. shaw like company visited here for placement. Some of alumni are working at big PSU also. Some seniors are doing M.Tech from IISc and IIT. Placement cell here provide full assistance for placement here. Vedanta and L&T come here every year for placement in core branches. They are giving good package to students here. Curriculum here is also placement oriented programming and dsa are taught to us in first semester. Average package is around 7.8 lpa which is decent considering all NIT'S.

Placement Experience:
The students from sixth semester are eligible for campus placements. They are various companies like MRF Ambuja cements, JSW Microsoft that have come here this year. The highest package was given to a student of MINING engineering of 55 lakhs. The average package is around 11 lakhs about 73% of the student which took part in placement session got placed. My plans is to get job before completing my degree.

- The pear group in the college is what makes up for everything good or bad.
- There are many fests in college and have great atmosphere in college.
- Faculty and placements both are decent..
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is the first thing that should be improved
- Sports infra amd facilities should also get better
- New hostels should be made with better facilities.
Placement Experience:
The placements of NIT Raipur are decent. The cse, it,ece branch have good placements with the highest touching around 60lakhs and multiple offers.
The core branch does not have great placements but the scope of government services is very good. Many students prepare for exams like Gate, Cat, Upsc, Engineering services, etc.

- Campus building:our main building is so beautiful and haven all.kinds of labs and beautiful gardens and a badminton court
- Central Garden:the charm.of our college,having different kimds of.flowers ,plants , trees and fountains and being well maintained
- Canteens:we have three canteens overall and a amul parlour and like the taste of our canteen food too much
Placement Experience:
My college placements are satisfactory. Yes ,some of our seniors are suffering because of recession but the placements are real good .All.the good and main companies visits our college noticing the fact that we are nit raipur and chooses their candidates wisely. My plans are going for tech and non core job for right now..yes I enjoy being in and learning electrical engineering but I have always been. Fond of cse.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
