- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- It is near the railway station so transportation is easy. Hostel facilities are very good, food quality is good, teaching staff are excellent and laboratory helps you to meet real life experience.
- College Campus is good, Clean roads, well managed traffic systems, well decorated college gardens, clean cclassrooms and corridors.
- College provides play ground for cricket, football, basketball, Volly ball, badminton, chess. Security gaurds are available for managing this all.
Dislikes
- Many times in Central computer lab, placement process keeps going because of this some lab we have to skip or shifted in different class.
- In rainy seasons, playgrounds for cricket, football fill with rainy water which is problematic thing for players.
- Hostel is not for every collage student, in first year only few students get hostels and after 1st year, more less gets hostel. Because of this many students faces problems because they have to go outside for shelters
Placement Experience:
The college campus is average. Placements offered in our college. The maximum package offer this year is 62 lakh per annum. A total 10 students got 55 lakh package so far for the year 2023. The average package for technical branches like Computer science and engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and communication engineering is 16 lakh per anum. And for core branches like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical engineering, Mining engineering, mattulergy engineering is 8 to 10 Lakh per anum. Core branches students are also placed upto 55 lakh by doing good in technical fields. Almost 80 percent students get placements.

- The clubs and committees are a very important aspect which are very good.
- The fests and events are a major attraction.
- The placements are the most important thing which is good.
Dislikes
- The number of hostel is less, so many students have to take PG or hostel outside the campus.
- It is a bit hard to make pace in the start.
Placement Experience:
As it's a NIT, there are very good campus placement, with the average package of Core to be Rs 800000. And the Avg. Package of not core is around Ra16 lacks . The highest package which only 2 or 3 Students achive is 55 lacks every year. The placements are very nice.

many seniors got 60 lakh packages this year
Nvidia came for internships this year almost all students got placed

- Nit raipur should focus on their placement in non core branches
- Nit raipur does not have enough hostel room

Placement is good for upper branches like cs, it, et etc.. But like mining, meta is not good, overall placement is good as compare to other private collages, nit raipur has placement team which organized

- The diversity of people , there are many people from different parts of the country and thus this creates an environment where we learn from each other.
- The clubs , there are various clubs in our colleges and they are also continuosly working and gives a nice boost to our POR.
- The fests, the college regularly conducts fests and thus we get a nice exposure to different environments of tech , sports and cult.
Dislikes
- There are certain type of cheap people ,who do nothing but hate the others.
- It's far away from my home so sometimes I miss my home.
- The infrastructure of the college is poor and hasn't been taken care of since decades.
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for internships by the third year and for placements by the fourth year.
Many companies like (oracle, Samsung, Amazon , Microsoft , Adobe etc.) visit our campus and i expect to see a hike in the no.of companies in the upcoming future.
Generally most of the diligent students get easily placed while those who take the exams lightly and flunk 2-3 times do not end up getting any interns or placements.
I plan on getting an on campus placement and after that I'll see if I can do MBA or something like that .

- The social environment is commendable for students coming out of their homes for the first time and supports new comers.
- There are enough opportunities for joining various clubs and committes for students
- The campus is well equipped with facilities for both academic and extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- There is a limited amount of hostel seat availability for students.
- The teaching faculty changes a lot which is not beneficial.
- Students find themselves engaged in studies too much and can't focus on other things.
Placement Experience:
The college placements are feasible and provide enough opportunities for students to move forward with their career.
The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester.
Companies like Wipro and Amazon also comes to hire employees from our college.
The highest package goes to 68 LPA.
80 to 90 percentage of students get placed on campus and there are also varios off campus placements.
My plans after getting a degree is to further continue higher studies.

- The faculties are very trained and the course curriculum is very well defined. Each student get ample of time to study and clear their doubts.
- Various labs are constructed with well equipped machines in the labs to get a real life experience of the job which is to be performed in future for the core sector students. It give a vast experience to them. And make them learn alot.
- Apart from study students communication skills are also focused and the value education is also focused. Various stress release sessions are also conduced by speakers and councellors of the collage. Which guide them in their ultimate goal
Dislikes
- Some times rhe events of the clubs and committee are clashed with the various other events in the collage so kess time is given by students to each and every event. Which sometimes make a loss to them.
- Sports facilities available in the collage are a bit of low expectations as there is only 1 ground available. And that to becomes messy if rain happens.
- The classroom are not equipped with the sound system and mic system so some times students face difficult to understand the class going work soecially back benchers.
Placement Experience:
The placement drive for our collage is very good this year. Various bigge companjes alike Microsoft, iracle, ford, phonepay, adobe is comming and fir core sectors psu and coal india, vedanta , adani, ntpc ,secl is hiring students.various ppis are offered to students by non core sector companies usually the placemnt drive is set for 3rd and 4th year studens and they prepare for the interviews accordingly. The information is given to placement cell the highest package is of 62Lakh offered toa student of Cs department and the average package is of about 22Lakh. For the non core sector the highest package in mining is 14.8Lakh offeres and the average package is 5.5Lakh. the placement stats of the collage is around 85-90% all the year. And almost everyone is olaced oncampus. Many students also prepare for gate and plan to study masters also and if for core sectors once gate is cleared PSUS are comming whicb directly recruit them so its a benifit for every core person if they clear gate.

- I liked college fests conducted by clubs and committees, where great speakers and celebrities comes.
- I liked the extra curricular subjects such as value education, yoga , NCC which helps in good mental and physical health.
- I liked library, free wifi, garden facility and a gym for exercise in this college.
Dislikes
- I disliked the library since it has a capacity of only 100-150 students in a college of more than 4500 students.
- I disliked the teaching methodologies of professors related to studies.
Placement Experience:
For branches such as computer science, it ,ece the packages are higher than the other branches. For branches such as electrical ,mechanical and chemical placements are average. For branches such as mining, civil and metallurgy ,placements are not many, and for the branches such as biotech and bomed. branches we have to upskill in computer courses for better placements. But although we can apply for exams such as gate, ese for higher studies and better placements.

Placements is biggest postive factor of nit Raipur
Is you have good cgpa around 8 and have some soft skills you will definately fetch placements no worries
Every branch even mining, biotech has 80% on campus placement
Off campus placement is also quite good . You will make many connections during college which can help in off campus
Many alumini also help for the same

- Collage provides you a very good liberay with a piece full environment

- The equipments in the laboratory they are old
- The hostel facility should provided to all the students
- Food is some what not good I would say there must be improvement

The placement are very good enough the average package in our branch idms around 1300000 per annum so by this after 4years I want to get placed in some company with a good package this will be based on th merit

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
