- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Our college location is so awesome and we easily get what we want and enjoy the life. College life decide our future and I feel that if you work hard and follow the rule and regulation and make great friend which always surrounded with you then you always miss every moment of life.

Positive in studies and other things negative in infrastructure as the college is made up in very small area so it looks very small in rai kr season and summer season students have to suffer a lot as there are no option to go and relax for the people who do up down

Positive part is that it's good persuing the college, but the stupid part is all you have do by yourself, college is ready to provide all the facilities except time, overall it's worth getting into it.

The college is situated in the City and no issues of any transportation or services. Everything is easily accessible. However every college has some limitations. There are some restrictions on campus timings as well as food is of average quality

Admission:
Admission is solely based on rank on JEE (Main) which is a All India Level examination. Candidate can apply for the exam if He/She has passed the Higher Secondary Exam in Science Stream with 75? or above marks. No donation facility available. Admission process starts with the nationwide online counselling and ends with the document and physical verification.

Placement scenario is very good. The college area is small. But college has Indian Coffee house in the campus. There is a railway station behind college. Canteen facilities are good.
Grounds are well maintained.

Remarks:
College management is good and easy to access any facilities. There are free medical facilities available as well.
One bad thing about NIT Raipur is that they don't have enough hostels and thus only 30-35% students get the hostel facility on the basis of their grades in college.

The college impacts in a positive way. Some south people feels uncomfortable with the traditions over here. College has equipped with all the facilities. It has computer building super market canteen juice corner ice cream parlor coffee shop and many more

I would say that college taught me more about respecting diversity other than learing academics. The college is growing gradually in terms of everything be it infra or academics or placements or anything. People are now recognising what is the potential of this place.

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
