Course Curriculum Overview:

I would read the course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive in terms of academic and real world. The course strikes a good balance between theory and practical experience. We get insight into urban geography environmental studies based learning that all need highly relevant to the current global issues of climate change and organisation. One of the major reasons I chose the course was the interdisciplinary approach. It covers special analysis, environmental sustainability and human geography which are not only aligned to a person in interest are very crucial in today's job market, the fieldwork and partical components are most influential while choosing this program. These aspects are crucial because they provide real-time experience and connect classroom knowledge to real words scenarios. I feel trips to urban and rural location. Help me understand the geographical issues as well. In terms of areas of improvement. The gay column is thorough. There are a few areas for example, electives could be explained. I would love to see more options that combined geography with public policies, sustainability and business studies, which would give students like me a chance to verify. It would also be helpful if there were more exposure for emerging technologies like remotesensing or AI based geographic analysis. These are the skills that are highly valued in current job market but extensively as per the exam system. We have seven major exams throughout the course which are intense but manageable we have semester system of two exams per year one semester, I would say that that the timing of the exam is pretty well spaced out, but difficulty and very upon the subject. Some exams are straightforward. If you have kept the coursework while others are more challenging And required deep conceptual understanding the difficulties is moderate to fear, but it can be tough at times, especially dealing with case studies.

BBE
Reviewed on Jan 26, 2025(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good if you have an interest in business and economics. It is quite different from a regular economics honours course, since everything is based on a business interpretation of economic concepts. If one has interest in the same and wants a degree from University of Delhi, then I would suggest going for this course. There are no events in the college worth going as such, but the BBE department has an active society which keeps on organising interesting events throughout the year and gives lots of opportunities for having a good college life. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.El.Ed is a very time-taking and reputed course. It is only in 8 colleges of DU. They are all girls college. The curriculum prepares you to become a facillitator rather than a traditional teacher. This course require hardwork if you really want to become a good teacher, this is it. Sometimes, it can get very hectic as the workload is too much in this course.

What is your review of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University?

Rajgeet JoshiStudied BCom (Hons) at Sri Venkateswara College Delhi University (Graduated 2013)

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

How good is DUs Satyawati College?

Prajwal TiwariStudied at Satyawati College, University of Delhi

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.

Is a BA programme a good course if I do it from DU?

Neha Rani
Prakriti RainaLLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

BA at DU can be BA (Program), BA (Hons), and in Honors, you can take the specialization course in Economics, Political Science, History, English, Hindi, Geography, and so on.

Furthermore, if you expect to get a higher percentage in BA courses, you are mistaken. Students at Delhi University typically receive very low grades. The average score is between 51 and 58%. It would not surprise me if someone became a University topper with only 58% of the marks.

So, just for the DU brand, choose the BA program and if you want to work in the civil service, you're on the right track.

How good is Indraprastha College of DU in reality?

Sanjana SinghStudied at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi

Seeing hundreds of girls daily can be overwhelming if you attend a co-ed school. But you'll get used to it. Despite its proximity to North Campus, it is no less than an off-campus college. The typical North campus atmosphere is missing. However, Kamla Nagar and GTB Nagar are only a few minutes away by autorickshaw.

The college canteen is not that good. It's vegetarian, and the menu isn't particularly appealing. The chole kulche and chaats available outside the college are tasty. Rolls Club, located near the metro station, serves delicious Chilli chicken rolls.

The professors, like all other DU colleges, are uninvolved concerning what you do outside of class. However, keep your attendance above 40%, at all costs. There are no language restrictions. If you don't understand something in English, teachers are willing to teach you again in Hindi. Most professors, at least.

In a semester, each paper has only two exams. There are no class tests otherwise.

There is no AC, only fans. You can go to the library for AC during your free period. The library is phenomenal for a government college. It has three floors with a lift and an online system to determine where books are kept. There is an ICT lab with internet access.

You must make your own college life enjoyable. You will meet many incredible women who will inspire you with their grace, intelligence, courage, speaking abilities, and pure hearts.

How is Swami Shraddhanand College of DU?

Sherina PhutelaStudied at Swami Shraddhanand College,University of Delhi

Swami Shraddhanand College is located on North Campus. Because of its location and management, it cannot be compared to any other DU college.

However, when you consider the foundation of a college, namely education and extracurricular activities, in terms of education, SSNC's History Department ranks among the top ten in Delhi University for some specific courses, along with the courses like Microbiology, Life Science, Botany, and Geography, SSNC. Aside from that, there is the well-known Cricket team, which has been a champion for the past decade or so.

Is Ramanujan College DU a good choice?

Mrunal KapoorStudied at University of Delhi

It would be an excellent choice. It became an independent morning college in 2013, and its growth has been phenomenal since then. Ramanujan College has it all: amazing campus life and a fantastic learning environment. NAAC has awarded it a Grade A++ and a GPA of 3.71. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021, it is also ranked 53rd in the college category, with an overall score of 54.68.

Here are some distinguishing characteristics that set Ramanujan apart from the crowd:

  1. Excellent Location: The college is in a prime location in Kalkaji, close to Epicuria, McD, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and other restaurants. You will never run out of places to party.

  2. Societies: This section is the college's true treasure. JAZBA, NSS, DNA, Shivranjani, Tark, TATVA, and other societies have always made the college proud.

  3. Experienced Faculty: Friendly and cooperative.

  4. Infrastructure: The building's infrastructure distinguishes it from all other DU colleges. The college has the best infrastructure in DU, with all modern amenities.

  5. Crowd: It's almost a nurturing environment, with seniors eager to assist and juniors willing to collaborate. The college environment is always pumped up with some event, campaign, rally, or other activity that inspires students.

Go ahead and enroll in Ramanujan College if you're interested in that now. You will never be regretful of your choice. You'll be presented with numerous opportunities here; all you have to do is seize them wisely. Ramanujan, as the name implies, has an excellent academic record, but the authorities are extremely strict. You must have a certain percentage of attendance in order to take the semester exam.
