- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

- Campus ,it is the one of the most attractive feature
- Environment is good its not very cold or hot
- Placement are average in comparison to other nits
Dislikes
- 50 percent state quota which non deserving candidates to get collage
- Connecting issues it take long time to reach campus
- Average placement,for lower branches other cs ece and mnc
Placement Experience:
Placement are good for cse and ece as cse average was 16 lpa and ece was 10 lpa but for branches like civil or material science and engineering physics its not good ,they face very much challenge to get placed

- The Interaction between faculties and students is good , they are supportive in nature
- The infrastructure is also good . And There are several buildings in process of making also .
- The sports facilities of this college is so good .
Dislikes
- The Mess facilities are not so good , it's average .
- We have to walk a lot to reach the lecture hall complex . It's a very large campus and we have to climb up the slope.
- The administration is not so good , they are not much supportive.
Placement Experience:
There is a good placement stats of our college . The dual degree courses provide better opportunities of placement. Even the mechanical branch has 90 percentage placement rate in our college . You can get a good job here if you have skills .

Placement Experience:
Campus placements are very goood. Top companies come to college and conduct written exams then conduct interviews. 95% students get placed. As placements start in 3rd year only . Its great campus for placements

- The college have good infrastructure and is located in an environment friendly location.
- The course and curriculum is upto the mark of new education policy and industry standards which help a lot in placements.
- Faculties are very helpful and guide throughout the course towards placement and higher education.
Dislikes
- The food quality in mess of the respective hostels is not good.
- Problem of water shortage in hostels is very common.
- Although campus is big college does not allow any mode of transportation within the campus.
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and internship opportunities. They can also apply off campus for placements if they are not interested or satisfied with the college placements. Students can also prepare for exams like GATE, UGC NET etc. as there is lot of free time for students. They can also work on there startup ideas. Almost 80 percent students get placed in my branch from campus placements with an average of 9 lpa. My plan is to pursue higher studies after the degree as i am interested in the subject.

- Its infrastructure is going better day by day as it should be. The best thing about the campus is, It is situated at the best place as it could.
- Professors are highly educated and now in electrical department we have 2 section of each batch by which teacher to the students ratio increased.
- It has all the facilities a student will need in the campus like wifi ,Student Activity center where we can play games and enjoy our hobbies
Dislikes
- Nearly all are 3 seater room but they made it four now we have to suffer with congested space. And in KBH and NBH there are only two fans for four students
- There is shortage of water supply in summer. Even for basic need we had to suffer a lot
- There is a slow wifi in hostel calls jio net. Its give us only 1 gb a day after login with a no. But sometime it also don't work but now new wifi are installed they will make it run after few months lets see
Placement Experience:
From starting of 7th semester there are lot of companies visit collage to give placement. They will make a certain criteria like CGPA to shortlist the student. Then they will sit in the placement round. When I came in this college I heard that someone with chemical branch got heighest package around 52 lakh domestic.

- College atmosphere is good and awesome, the playground is good and the lecture hall newly built.
- College has good greenery and a open environment. Moreover the hostels are good and food is also good.
- The college canteen provide good food at low price. The gym facility in the college is also good .
Dislikes
- The college campus is too big and we have to cover a lot of distance to go from one place to another.
- There is a lack of proper connectivity to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
So I am a student of mechanical engineering, so the course is good and to the point to the mechanical field. It is related to the latest concepts and latest technology. Often there are AutoCAD classes that are well used for us in the field.

- I disliked the 75 percent attendance criteria
Placement Experience:
Students after 3rd year gets eligible to placements and my college bring good companies which gives better placement, highest package my college provided was around 1 crore per annum percentage of students gets placed is also moderate

- the location of the campus, lush green surrounded by the view of mighty Dhauladhar range of Himalyas
- Faculty is well qualified and has a great sense of teaching
- Coding culture , NIT hamirpur has one of the best coding culture
Dislikes
- infrastructure is very average and needs to be rennovated
- sports facility , there is no great facilities . we only have a Student Activity center which has decent facility which are not upto the mark
- gym. There is only one Gym in Student Activity Center . Only two hostels have the gym facility
Placement Experience:
NITH has a good placements for the computer science branch and the average package for computer science branch is 14-15 lakhs per annum. for the core branches it is not upto the mark. the average package for the core branches is 6.8 lakhs per annum . although the percentage of the students placed is pretty high

- Campus Life of NIT Hamirpur is awesome. It has beautiful campus , a good infrastructure.
- Various events and hackhatons are conducted time to time in NIT Hamirpur.
- Placement rate of NIT Hamirpur is also good . This year highest package was 2 Cr
Dislikes
- There is no direct railway station or airport
- Hostels needs to be upgraded and maintenance required properly.
- As vehicles are not allowed for students, we have to walk a lot.
Placement Experience:
The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc.
More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .
