The placement process at Christ is held from November to December and then from January to march every year. Usually, 80 or more companies come for the placement drive. Companies like Samsung, ICICI bank, Amazon, Reliance, Bisleri, etc are present. In 2019 number of students placed in the undergraduate program was 878 students and from the post-graduate program were 842 students. A total of 1,720 students were placed and an even more number of students were placed in the year before that. Out of 2,778 students, 2, 149 students were placed with the salary offering from 6 lakhs to 13.12 lakhs. The placement cell and the percentage at Christ University are exceptionally good.
Christ Deemed to be University was the first college I applied to after boards getting canceled. The admission cycle had started soon after. The candidate's eligibility for the courses differed from one course to another, mine required me to have passed in grade 12 (10+2). Even though the competition for admission in Christ University is tough it is not all that difficult if one is prepared. Christ University has CUET (Christ University Enterance Test) followed by one to one interview. The question paper of the enterance test depends on the course the student chooses. The student who gets through the CUET is then placed for an online one-to-one interview, which is the most important and the last part of the admission process. The key is to be confident but not overconfident.
As I said before we have very good campus placement, all over India our college is rated for 4.2 out of 5 for placements and stood in the second position. We will get well-established organizations like Goldman Sachs, de shaw, jp Morgan, etc
The admission process is of 2 steps Exam - quant and verbal If selected will got next step which is an interview The interview consists of micro presentation and FAculty interview I choose this college because l it has better opportunities for improving skills and knowledge and this collage ranked in top 4 in India and it also has better placement opportunities
On our campus, the placement starts from the 7th semester onwards mostly. Anyone with more than 60% aggregate is eligible to sit for placement. Mostly software companies come. But non technical companies also come. Almost 80-90% of eligible students get placed every year. And some students plan for higher studies.
We had to apply online for the college. And after they select your application they gave a date for the exam. We had 3 rounds for exams. First was the aptitude round, then we had some general questions based on our 12th grade subject. Then at last we had a personal interview round. There were some eligible criteria like. Minimum 60% in 12th, 50% in maths.
Christ university is one of the best colleges all over India. It is old as well, as it was founded in 1969 and offers. For my program I had to for CUET, an entrance exam conducted by the university. my 10+2 marksheets also had to be at least above 55% . The application fee was very expensive. I had to pay an amount of Rs 5000.
Christ does offers placements, which usually takes place during the final semester. The criteria for it should be, well maintained attendance and GDPA with no back papers. The average package starts from somewhere around 2.7 lakhs and goes up to 10 lakhs p.a. Companies like Unacademy, bijyu's . Amazon, flipkart, HDFC and a lot of start ups keep visiting the campus for recruitment.
The college has a good reputation in the field of social sciences also other subjects and has good amount of co-curricular activities that help in holistic development of the student. Despite an hectic schedule importance is given to the students overall development.
The personal interview is a basic one which includes the questions like self introduction and regarding subjects studied during the previous course. The interview might also include the questions relevant to your field of study.
They normally starts the placement from 4th trimester end. But main process starts by 5th trimester and by end of the annual year all the students gets placed in some companies. Deloitte, PWC, IBM, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package varies every year depending on the potential of any students it might cross 15 or 20 depending on their capability, but the average package is around 7-8 LPA.
Christ is known for its name and the kind of knowledge what we get, which everyone knows about it. We can get any domain of course at Christ. And the best part of the college being in the center of Bangalore. Admission process is smooth and well managed and one thing which Christ is known for is the timeline. They are very strict on that, they will follow the deadlines and timelines being set. Same applies during the admission process.
The students are eligible to get sit for placements after the fifth semester after their internship period is over and then they can apply for the placement. The main companies that come are Goldman Sachs, the big four(Deloitte, KPMG, etc.) And many more banks like ICICI OR HDFC BANK. There are more than 95% of people who got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an organization for 2 years and Side by side preparation for MBA exams like Cat and Xat.
An amazing discussion was done before choosing this college with my parents. I choose this college because there is a lot of discipline in the college and also the amount of exposure I get in this college is just too amazing. The staff and faculty are very professional and good. The amount of knowledge they have is just superb. Also, the campus life is very good. The afterlife of campus i.e the nightlife is amazing. Also, it's very easy for outsiders to find out the pg and flats. The campus also has a hostel facility. Just want to say If any person who cannot handle a lot of tasks at a time should not apply to Christ.
Merit + Admission test + Interview
Infrastructure- The campus is beautiful and nature-friendly. There are cafes, sports grounds, auditorium, clubs, hangout places, all well maintained and clean. Other facilities like hostel and library, both serve an excellent service. Faculty- Teachers are helpful and supportive. Due to this pandemic, they use different software to enhance our skills. They always try their best to guide us regarding assignments. Mostly they believe in practical learning rather than theoretical and push us to bring our innovative ideas. Placement- Actually, placement varies from department to department, some courses offer really amazing packages. I'm still pursuing my M.A, so I don't know much about this. Admission - The college publishes its admission form in December. You have to select your admission written exam and interview date. Also, they publish the admission test result within 24hrs. Fees Structure- Compare to other colleges, it's reasonable with excellent facilities.
I chose this college because i got accepted to study in his prestigious college. The admission process was all given in the official college portal, including the overall fees of the college. The seat is based on personal interview. Firstly I had to send a video of not more than 2 minutes writing a english monologue. This had to be done 5 days prior to the interview after which the personal interview took place. My class 10 and 12 mark sheets were also to be submitted during the time of filling the application.
The college has a placement office where the students can enquire about the placements, and there are campus recruiting taking place as well. The pre-placement talks start taking place in which the interested candidate is giving the details about the company, the job profile and also the CTC. It is then followed by written tests and a personal interview. The average CTC starts from 4.5 lakhs depending upon the job profile.
firstly give CAT, MAT or any other PG exam. start applying as soon as admissions open. in Christ you will have to go for a GD and micro presentation on a particular date and the interview may be on that very day or 2-3 days after the GD. Christ is a well known University with a lot of competition which creates a nice learning environment. they are strict about the dress code and attendance. So, if you cant adhere to their rules for attendance and dress code especially please consider joining elsewhere. it is a great environment for learning and the campuses are spacious and has a great vibe. ( kengeri campus being the best )
we start with a GD for which we get 3 mins to prep. the topic is general and usually from current affair's or social or global issues. we then are give a topic on spot again social or global issues for which we get 2 mins to prep and have to speak for 1 min.

Jain University, Sharada University, LPU University, and Christ University, I got a seat in all Universities but I chose Christ Bangalore as it was close to Hyderabad and also Christ is the best university for BBA in India so I didn't join in other. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The admission criteria were first giving a written exam and then attending for the interview and also there should be a minimum of 75% in 12th standard and the age is minimal of 18.by Sreeja Gowra
