- Everything was very good teachers are very supportive and helpful and they teach in a good manner and very nicely.
- Good in annual technical festival in library range of books always available socialism groups clubs created by students in college sports & extra activities also available for all students to improve study alongwith other activities.
- The placement opportunities at my college were quite good, with many students securing job offers from reputable companies through campus placements.
Dislikes
- Admission process was very hectic as they were not good management very bad because only thing that they want is more money and students don't care about people bad admission process teaching is very bad
- Lots of restriction for our department whenever we want to do something new
- The timing of the exams used to in afternoon which made us feel dizzy.

- I like the environment of the institute, it feels like very comfortable place for one to study
- Teachers are very friendly, teachers make a huge difference in what person you will become or come out after 3 years.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Bammc course is quite vast and it takes complex studying for one to be prepared for it. I'm looking to pursue advertising which helps me groom with behaviour skills, past knowledge, effective communication for the outer world.

- A huge campus with Ac rooms, multiple canteens.
- Multiple companies for placements are available.
- Various Sports opportunities available .
Dislikes
- Unhygienic canteen of engineering. Flies all around.
- Moody faculty everyday. But not that strict.
- Very weird college crowd. Difficult to mix in.
Placement Experience:
We are allowed to sit for placements, only in last year(Ly).
Around 200 companies had visited somaiya last year. Highest package was Microsoft with 51LPA, 2 stundents, one from CS, one from IT.
Companies like: JP Morgan, Microsoft, Edelweiss, ICICI, Godrej, Barclays, etc.
Average package: 10LPA
Most students who sit for placements are placed. About 90% students are placed.
I would be doing Mtech after my BTech

- I like the teachers. They are very understanding and helpful. They encourage you to try new things apart from studies.
- The college conducts many events, and this helped me to increase my confidence by taking part in these events
- College also has a Counsellor And they encourage us to talk to the counsellor when needed in order to help us students mentally
Dislikes
- Conducts many events, thus the noise from the events sometimes disturb the class
Placement Experience:
You can get campus placements from the first semester itself.
Many companies visited a college such as Deloitte, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Kotak, SBI, etc These are some regular visitors, recruiting the roles primarily in sales, business development, finance, and consulting.
The average salary package ranges from 4 to 7 lakhs per annum with the highest packet, sometimes reaching 12 to 16 lakhs depending upon the course and company.
60 to 70% students usually get placements.
My plans after completing this degree is used to do CMA.

- Crowd is really nice and friendly and also the staff
- The way of teaching is amazing all the teachers have really good way of teaching
- Extra curricular activities, functions and compititions
Dislikes
- No pads are available in the girls washroom
- Some teachers are too rude and of course there's favouritism
- Attendance issues, they don't even follow government's rules, if there's red alert cuz of heavy rain and government declared holiday for every schools and colleges my college doesn't gives us holiday
Course Curriculum Overview:
I just went for this course so that I can focus on my professional course or competitive exams. The curriculum prepares me well for the real-world and not just curriculum but the teachers helps us too. They should increase the timing for the exam at least for accounts seeing how lengthy and tough the paper is even every paper is set quite tough.

- Teaching is really good and taken seriously
- 75% attendance in mandatory and helps in learning

- Too much stress on attendance so cannbe stressful
- Not a lot of space for sports and other activities
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Deloitte, jio, saint given, TCS, L&T and more such companies visit us for placements. Around 70-80% of students get placed and others go for higher studies. I personally plan on sitting for the placements.

- Availability of transportation and services around the college.
- The medicals, clinics are near the college also there's police station.
- The cooperative faculty and humble teachers plus the campus life is amazing and fascinating.
Dislikes
- The small campus of the college yet there's another space for the students to hangout.
- The cafeteria service is ridiculous, there's not much availability in the menu yet you can find many restaurants around the college.
- Since the college is near to the railway station the surrounding area is chaotic and sometimes the voices are too loud to keep focuses.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of the course that I chose was pretty clear to understand and adapt since the notes departments provides are relevant.
The curriculum takes us explore the places in real life so that we could connect and communicate with the people around which helps in gaining the confidence to apply outside the box. The timing of exam during the sem if for 2 hours which is fine for 60 mark's examination the paper are set by the HODs of the departments of courses that you pursue the difficulty level is average from my perspective.

- Hardest working professors is what I have seen thus far at VJTI.
- Industries have set up their own labs and many guest professor's and industry professionals are invited to make us learn in those labs.
- Beautiful campus and some old heritage architect to announce that we are one of the oldest engineering institutes of the country.
Dislikes
- There is still no Wi-Fi available for students.
Placement Experience:
Without entering the penultimate semester students can't sit for campus placements. Colleges placement cell takes care that everyone gets a fair shot at it and that maximum students are placed through campus. It takes time but most students with an average package of 10 LPA are comfortable placed from VJTI.

- With a reasonable fees and the kind of labs and other practical facilities that we have, I think private universities that charges a bomb should take a learning from us.
- Have talked about the labs but since enginnering means long hours, we need food to fuel ourselves and for that we have two great canteens.
- Placements are getting better and better and better by the day.
Dislikes
- There are many contractual faculties hired and they are not where close to the permanent faculties.
Placement Experience:
Placements here are not an issue as almost 70-75% students are placed through campus. From Siemens to L&T every company has looked upon us as an institute to look forward for placements. Getting 30-40LPA package is every year's story at VJTI and average stands at 10 lakhs or so.

- Outside the clg area, many people tend to smoke
- Cancelling events without giving prior notice
- Less food options in the canteen which might not suit non vegetarians

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
