Everything was very good teachers are very supportive and helpful and they teach in a good manner and very nicely.
Good in annual technical festival in library range of books always available socialism groups clubs created by students in college sports & extra activities also available for all students to improve study alongwith other activities.
The placement opportunities at my college were quite good, with many students securing job offers from reputable companies through campus placements.
Dislikes
Admission process was very hectic as they were not good management very bad because only thing that they want is more money and students don't care about people bad admission process teaching is very bad
Lots of restriction for our department whenever we want to do something new
The timing of the exams used to in afternoon which made us feel dizzy.
These insights are automatically extracted from student reviews
The teachers are very friendly, teaching methods are digitalised. Different faculty for different subject
Social Life the best in this college in entire Mumbai. The Fests are almost every month. The intercollegiate competitions are taken very seriously and students are motivated to participate in it.
Dislikes
The infrastructure as in a 9 floor building there are almost 11-12 colleges offerring different specialisation. So not much facilities other than library and gymkhana
Some faculties are still not adopting modern methods of teaching. Power game is played sometimes with students
Placement Experience:
The highest placement was 14 Lpa for Bcom course and average package was 6 Lpa. Reputed companies like HDFC, JP Morgan, TresVista, Morgan Stanley, PhillipCapital etc were visiting the campus. 100% placement.
Very small classes in my college and small toilets
Course Curriculum Overview:
Very nice curriculum activities in My course is the best course for me and I know all things about it sector , account department etc . They can improve in teaching methods and curriculum activities .
Faculty members are very good and good at teaching.
Classrooms are air conditioned and well maintained. additionally new smart boards have been put up and white boards have been removed, this makes it convenient for students to see and also helps in sharing the notes via a qr code in pdf form
there is a good campus placement which the college offers for students.
Dislikes
there is actually nothing in particular that i disliked about the college
Placement Experience:
There are campus placements that the college offers, i just dont have much knowledge about it since i have just completed 1st sem.
But what i do know about it is that the atudents start getting offers from 2nd year from various companies.
After spending almost two years as a xavierite, I can say that the college has it's special way of rewarding talented people and giving people more opportunities and exposure. college fests gives hands on experience in organising and managing events
another highlight is the campus life. the canteen in a very lively place with amazing food and vibrance of crowd.
Xavier's provides students lots of opportunities, both academically and otherwise to grow personally and professionally through workshops and guest lectures. in summary it's a blend of learning and personal growth.
Dislikes
As a student of mass media I feel like the faculty for the course is not correctly equipped for handling a large class of 70 people. the course syllabus is largely focused on theoretical portions rather than practical aspects of media.
College has a small campus and doesn't really have space for many outdoor activities even though there is a basketball court. the basketball court is almost always out of limits for students to play in. there is a significant lack of outdoor games.
college doesn't have a girls hostel facility. the only boys hostel within the campus is small and doesn't let second year students stay. it only accomodates the first years and third year students..
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements in their third year of college. the college provides high-end placement opportunities including companies such as accenture, Bane, and Co. etc. Even though these are amazing opportunities the companies pick only very less students for their placements. last year Unilever had given placement to one of the students studying BMS. Students need alteast 9 cgpa to usually get these placements along with other experiences and talents that they possess.
The overall environment and sophisticated ambiance
Dislikes
None as the college is very good and beautiful
None as the college is very nice and beautiful
None as college is very nice and beautiful
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is very good for people who have yet to decide what they want to do in near future and are not clear with their future goals and are planning to do any further studies like Charted accountant and company secretary courses
good teaching and non teaching staff for everything
campus is clean and neat and really spacious
Course Curriculum Overview:
curriculum includes subjects other than science so that we can have a graspe at all the fields of education and the other subjects are helpful in our day to day lives as they teach us everything we need to know
Ambience is very nice and good. Excellent Campus Placements
There is 16 acres of campus and many grounds
Mess Facility and affordable Hostel Stay.
Dislikes
Infrastructure can be improved and upgraded
Teaching and Assignment are really frustrating.
Lack of UPI payment in Canteen for students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Electronics Branch is one of my favourite branch. Due to semiconductor investments in India many companies will hire more electronics engineering. It will definitely come in demand in few years also..
Infrastructural facility is very good with all the things available
Classrooms are very spacious with good lighting and air
Technologically advanced, students don't have to wait in queues to receive their essential documents and notices as the college have created websites and WhatsApp groups
Dislikes
Irregular classes, the lectures are not conducted regularly
Too much crowded during the payment of fees or any other submission
Not so good teaching facilities, sometimes the same topic is taught by 3 different teachers
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is Very good but it doesn't go with the new education policy. The new education policy has subjects which don't even relate to course and it's getting very stressful among students as we have to learn whole textbook for 30 marks and there aree 11 subjects.
Everyone here is a topper and knowledgeable in different fields. The students here are very smart and they engage and make various projects and organize events in various domains. The seniors are also very helpful and there is no ragging.
The professors and HOD's are very experienced and focus on logic building rather than rote learning.
Compared to the level of exposure and the type of studious environment the fees are very affordable.
Dislikes
Some of the labs wi-fi is very slow ant can't manage high speed to many students at a time.
The college is autonomous but still there are unrelated subjects like mechanics, iks, bioscience for first year students.
Attendance system is poor.most of the students succesfully mark attendance by their friends without attending classes.
Placement Experience:
Mostly all students are applicable for internships and ppo's in 4th year of the course after passing their CGPA criteria. Many companies like Google ,Microsoft, Oracle, JP Morgan ,Texas Instruments,TCS etc have visited. The details of placement can be found on the vjti website.Percent of students getting placed is greater than 80% and rest of them go for higher studies or other exams such as govt exams etc.
As I have less percentile I don't get admitted in Computer Engineering course I choose this course because this course is for students whose percentile is less and interested in core branch. As electronics is core branch there are many other opportunities.
Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
