- Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
- Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
- There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.
Dislikes
- Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
- At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
- I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:
>For my poor cucet mark i didn't get any other universites seat bocz of there cutt off too higher than me and PU has offer for spot admission at that time and through may be its a best oppertunity i can gain some knowledge and go through this course i can also prepare for NFSU or CUCET again beacuse of the course have offer a introduce or basic of forensic science chapter .
>am rating 70% for this course beacuse of i get lots of knowledge .we are went from Atoupsy house , Central forensic Lab , Central jail in these process i was found lot of expirence about Forensic Science field. >If this course will gave 2yr like as a master degeree and need one forensic lab and teacher who trend for froensic science . because there is no lab for knowing about laberotory we was going to chennai CFSL and there is no trend teacher for forensicscience specially it's only good for criminology student bcoz of all teachers of our department are law background and they are very well at teach criminology.

The cource curriculum of pondicherry University in geology is much better than all other colleges and universities.It helps to prepare much for all entrance based exams in geology like iit jam,gate,net , etc..

Placement offered is about 75%.from 3 rd semester students are eligible for the placement.pick you trails company visited and offered 3 posts.average package is 20000.my plan is to work for a travel company.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Actually the curriculum is best and the teachers are soo good in teaching. Perfectly conducting the exams and covering a syllabus in time, explaining with the practical so it was so helpful to understand. They teach about the computer eventhough I'm an med student..it will help to prepare ppt presentation.

- Administration is very poor that you will have to walk a lot for simple work

The syllabus for this course is apte for other competative exams and a wide area of research is also covered in this curriculum of sociology in Pondicherry University. exams are conducted on time as per the Callender

- Size of the campus, greenery, hostels, modern classrooms, central library, gym, playground.
- Some faculty were too good in their domain of research.
Dislikes
- Few non-students from around the university used to be trouble makers.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Although the degree is called Applied Geology, the curriculum is not exactly is line with the industry demands but this is the case with most of the institutes offering geology at this level. The curriculum prepares you for the Geologist examination by UPSC etc. Teaching faculty are adept to latest research in the domain. Exams are not too stressful, and they are held on a frequent basis.

- Faculty, the staff and the people at Pondicherry University
- The campus is pretty huge and is about the biggest campus is India
- The University has a lot of Diversity so you get to learn a lot of new things and experience different stuff

- The placement opportunities which are almost negligible
- The amount of students that they take in for the course
- The lack of extra curricular activites for the students
Placement Experience:
There are very few placement opportunities that the department provides most of which are kind of not worth doing after getting a degree such as an MBA. But nevertheless, students can always look for job opportunities off-campus

Placement Experience:
Department will provide the campus placements but it was very limited to anthropology department but we can have the large scope in the research area with writing neet exam and we will get ph.d admission

- Class room environment it was because we get the friends form different parts of the country
- In University we are have the easy access to the beach and it was just 100 meters and we can go easily
- Professors are very good persons and they will help us in difficult situations

- Politics in the university is disliked by me
- Some how we can face the language problem
- The quality of the food is not good in some days

- Campus give Library gives freedom of doing things.
- If you are looking for a great career, it would be great opportunity
Dislikes
- No placements for ma courses. Academics are not upto the level
- Mess food is not of great quality. Roads are not good.
Placement Experience:
Generally after 3rd semester on would be eligible for campus placements.But for my course MA political science, no placements would be provided.But for Science and Management stream you could get placements.MBA GENERAL AND TRAVEL TOURISM would get great placements
