- Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
- Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
- There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.
Dislikes
- Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
- At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
- I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum revolves around socio-cultural anthropology and the final semester would be the area where you would get an idea on how the real world would be. A more emphasis on physical anthropology is needed here

- The greenary of the campus. The Akkas and students are friendly.
Dislikes
- The bus transportation is low, the mess food is okay but can be better. There needs to mire student organisation which is little less now
Course Curriculum Overview:
I went through the syllabus of anthropology which I liked the most and had some idea about this background,hence I opt for this masters
The curriculum is decent but I would rather suggest to go for better place for the course
There is a room for improvement of course when it comes to the curriculum and lab needs to be operational

- The environment and culture of the university
- The Library and the reading room which was very much useful for students
- There is no ragging and no other things inside the university
Dislikes
- Most of things I don't like in example the roads of the university
- The next is the availability of the bus facility inside the campus
- At last the canteens. The foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst

Actually I didn't expect that I will get into this course
And the aspects of this course that influenced my decision to choose this course was this was the easiest way to get in to any competative exams
The timing of exams are good as in my point of view

- The environment which is full of greenery
- The diversity among the students i.e. there are students from all over India
- The cultural programs conducted by the university

- The roads are mostly not maintained well
- The mess food is not that well cooked most times
- The buses are not punctual and so we are not able to get to class in time sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
I've always been interested in the course so I chose it when I got the chance. The syllabus should be a little more technology integrated and updated on some levels as some things that are taught to not have real world applications in most cases. The frequency and timing of the exams are good in this department. The internals are once in a month and finishes in a week.

- Travelling through campus in night and go for a tea.
- Exploring in the SJ campus with friends and playing games
- Discussing some topics with friends in the class and go through deeply
Dislikes
- Food that get from mess is not good for eat every day
- Some classes are very boring to hear and I am fell asleep
- Campus is not as much as political. Students should more interfere in political aspects in the world

This course is very important in this current situation.History get more relevance on particular subjects in national and international level.The curriculum was prepared here is clearly justify to this things.

- For cheap rate they provide good and variety food
- Hostel is really good and secure. Each hostel have security
- There is no restrictions in hostels. And reading room is open till 3:00am on working days
Dislikes
- There is more distance from hostel to department
- Because of the distance.. They must provide bus on timing.
- Lack of faculties make the classes combined
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mathematics is always a good option. It have various opportunities. If u want to know more about mathematics you can take research section or else you can take job in bank. And data analysis. Mathematics really have more and more fields

- Students here are very good and cooperative. They made my life here so easy and enjoyay
- Pu is a central university that gives the same vibe as a college in my native place which gave me a sense of belo
- Faculty are very well qualified and well experienced
Dislikes
- Placements they promised is not provided for us this semester and placement given by banks are not exclusive for our course as it make our chance to secure a good job bleak
- Academic is little of here and the infrastructure are little bit old
Placement Experience:
From 3rd sem we can apply for placements . Already so many banks provided placements. Banks like federal , sib, icici bank already completed their placement program. Federal bank provided the highest package which is more than 70000. Good amount of students are getting jobs through this

- Night walks and vast stundent community provides various learning opportunities
- Exposure to various cultures and top notch faculties and availability of national and international seminars
- Free bus services for students back and froth
Dislikes
- Bus is only available at the time of breaks, 3 times a day. Other occasions you have to walk
- Student strength in a class is very high and hence care get to the individual student will be less.
- Syllabus of the course can be improved and prctical exposure can be provided
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since this is a central university it will provide a chance to study children across india which will improve your communication skills and socializing skills and get to work with top notch faculty. The curriculum covers almost every aspects but little more exposure in the field is required. They can avoid topics covered in degree level and should include more high level topics and shoud provide more real world exposure. Teaching methods are quite good but can include more case studies. Exams will be held in each semester and therefore students will get enough time to prepare and have a moderate level questions.

Pondicherry University's statistics department has an old syllabus. It might want to change into a modern syllabus. there are lab facilities and good facilities in the statistics department. the teaching method is excellent

- Pondicherry is a tourist area and studying in this university let me explore many places
- The university life made me more independent and hard working.
Dislikes
- The food in the mess is really bad and it's not worth the money being paid for it
- The infrastructure and roads are not maintained well as the roads are full of pot holes and the buildings are really old
- The medical system and the health centre is useless and we have to go outside to get proper healthcare even in emergencies
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is easy to study and manage. Each semester has 5 papers and all necessary areas are covered in this. The course isn't that difficult while comparing to science courses. The teachers and their methods are good
