About LPU B.Tech

Lovely Professional University offers a four-year, full-time B.Tech in 31 courses grouped in six branch groups, with 4,710 approved first-year seats in 2023-24. Every course takes students through LPUNEST, the university's own exam, and a JEE Main score can also be used. The university holds NAAC A++ and stands #48 in NIRF engineering 2025. The full fee without hostel is INR 13.20 Lakhs for the CSE and IT group, INR 11.60 Lakhs for the Core group and INR 36 Lakhs for Global Tech. The university publishes no pay or cutoff by branch. LPU B.Tech Fees

The fees without hostel is INR 13.20 Lakhs in the CSE and IT group and INR 11.60 Lakhs in the Core group, and the lowest hostel and mess cost adds INR 4.40 Lakhs over four years. Your branch group decides the tuition fee, which you pay each semester. You also pay an examination fee of INR 5,000 every semester. Your LPUNEST score can cut the tuition fee through a waiver.

You need 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Maths and English, and an LPUNEST score or a JEE Main score. Every branch uses the same marks rule. If your Class 12 result is not out yet, you can still apply and show the marks later.

LPU B.Tech Scholarships

An LPUNEST score of 300 or more earns the Category A waiver, up to 60% of tuition, and 212 or more earns up to 50%. Your score sets the waiver, not your family income. The Central Sector Scheme adds INR 12,000 a year if your family income is up to INR 4.5 Lakhs.
