- Faculty is very good and teaches the best everyone are experts made a good connection with students.

- Hostel was worst part of the institute the food is bad

Course Curriculum Overview:
Computer science and engineering is the best branch and Kattankulatur is the best campus to join in. SRM University is well known for its main campus Kattankulatur and placements, especially from CSE. Teachers are not cooperative and they are very strict. You will never feel like it’s a college you will feel like school.

- Campus - Excellent campus infrastructure for a new comer to the city. We can utilise lot of facility and inturn we can develop ourselves
- Faculty - faculties at SRM university were highlh knowledgeable. They helped me throughout the tenure and come out in flyjng colours

Placement Experience:
We had an excellent placement coordinator.
In 2007, they formed a placement team with a group of students who have already got their placements.
They used to guide the guys who have not got their placements.
Also, they used to bring a lot of Companies for hiring students.

The course curriculum is up to date and with excellent teaching staff The exams are periodical and are announced well in advance The faculties are well qualified and trained on industry types of equipment and the labs are will run and maintained

- I like the campus life in the college. It has a well diversed community from different parts of india and even outside india.
Dislikes
- The over population. In just CSE department there are over 4000 students. The campus is always crowded.
Placement Experience:
From 6th sem students are eligible of placements. According to the information from the college for the year 2022-2023, 700+ companies have visited for placements. 7000+ offers have been given with a average salary of 7LPA and the highest package is 44.14LPA.

- What i like is the labs infrastructure liberty
- Research facilities various club activites
- There is many extracurricular activities and festives conducted

- The sports arena don't say badminton as sport
- and the paint for the building was pink its not good
- Marks for the attendance is i hate most dont tense the students like these

College placements are available with a good amount of packages. They are on average about 8 lakhs per annum. Most 90% of the student will have a job by the end of the final year. no of companies increase by the years.

- I liked the infrastructure in the college and the ambience that makes anyone interested to join in the college so the college is very peaceful
- i loved yhe campus life where i got to meet many new friends and people who.helped to build my future and campus will definitely gives you a new vibe and happiness

- sometimes the attendance method is not a good option i feel so and it makes annoying everyone
- it would be nice if the college has more seats available so that extra students who are interested can also join in the college i wish
- nothing extra negative things to say overall i feel good
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose literature because I love books and reading, I love reading poems, novels, etc. that always keep me awake so I choose this degree and the faculties are so good naturally and I love it, they even encourage you to pursue more and each every staff who are working there completed either their Ph.D. or NET exam and everyone there are highly intelligent. The exams are on time.

- Small library and donot have proper seating in library
- Hostel fees are too high and common people cannot afford
Placement Experience:
Students do not need to worry about placements. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, etc, come to our college for campus interviews and 90% get placements in the campus selection itself.
Our college also prepares students to face the interview from the starting itself.

In the SRM IST placements drive 2020, the highest CTC stood at INR 41.6 LPA whereas the average CTC stood at INR 10 LPA and the lowest CTC was INR 5 LPA. During the SRM IST placement drive in 2020, 600 companies made 7926 offers and there were 200 new ones.
