What Students Say

Likes

Campus lifestyle and infrastructural amenities
Cafeteria and the food options available
Teaching staff and laboratories with high tech equipments

Dislikes

Attendance mandate of 75% or more for appearing in exams
Requires more in depth learning on improved technology

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to date and with excellent teaching staff The exams are periodical and are announced well in advance The faculties are well qualified and trained on industry types of equipment and the labs are will run and maintained

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I wasn't able to avail of any scholarships or financial assistance as I opted out of it but when it comes to the fee structure it varies from 2.5 Lakhs per year to 4.5 lakhs per year as per my understanding depending on the department.

Campus Life

The social life on campus is one of the best features of SRM. The excellent mixture of people from all over the world gives you ample opportunity to understand and network about other countries and regions. The college has one of the most beautiful infrastructure along with 4 major cafeterias. The best of all the four is Java with a variety of food to taste and enjoy. When it comes to sports it depends on the individual's interest as it was very difficult to know the times of trials and other sporting activities happening.

Admission

The entrance exam conducted by SRM is a computer-based test from the college It is of mixed levels of maths and aptitude It was a intermediate examination where average student who have completed their 12th can attempt, try and clear. To get more details of the SRM entrance exam you can visit the main office admission block in the main block.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
