Many companies visited our university for campus interview, as these companies expected well educated and well-trained students for their companies. Every year, nearly 95% of the students will be placed in better colleges. Our institution also takes special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.
At final year we will called for interview in our main campus for some companies. And we have internship but not with the any industry it is with farmers nearby area. we stay with them for 3months and got some ideas and experience.

yes , our college have Fee concessions and scholarships such as Adi Dravida welfare scholarships, Central Government scholarships, State Government free education for student from non-graduate family, Periyar Endowment scholarships and fellowships and scholarships from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi and other agencies are available for the benefit of deserving enrolled candidates. We were just the second batch of the course. Not much of placement assistant. Only two out of 17 got the offers, that too from the unit which I went for internship. But most of my friends are well placed now and at the senior level at various MNC's. You wont get disappointed after choosing this degree / university.
No. It was not. We had to struggle hard to find. I remember sending mails to more than 500 companies for my internship. Definite area for improvement though.
There are no placements for BSc students inside the campus. They have to get prepared for several exams to get a job.
For an Agriculture degree, there is no internship needed. There will be ready in the fourth year where we practice farming in farmers' fields outside the campus.
We can apply for jobs in various Biotechnology companies. And we can also look up for IT field, and several government research institute.
Don't have more data about placement as I'm in third year. Many of us go to post graduate studies in various disciplines. We have an alumni association and they have meetings also. Many notable IAS are from our college only.
