University of Madras Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum is so relevant to industry exposure. That makes the student industry ready. The faculty members are kind, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members teach and do many practical sessions for students for easy understanding. But some faculty members mostly stick to books. I chose this course to get a job in the bio-technical field. The faculty members and the student ratio is 20:1. The college provides mentors also that the students can get advice from these mentors to overcome problems both in academics and life. 1 mentor for 20 students has been assigned. The exams are often conducted. Mainly there are mid-semester exams, model semester exams, and semester exams. The semester exams are slightly hard to pass. But studying one day before exams lead to getting an easy pass.

The placement is so good in this college. And there is a separate placement training cell that trains the students to place in good companies. Mostly 80 percent of students get placements every year. The top recruiting companies are Zoho, Accenture, TCS, Deloitte, Sutherland, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package is 6 lakhs per annum. The average salary package is 4 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package is 2.5 lakhs per annum. The role provided for this course are HR, Trainee, Accountant, Data analyst, etc. I plan to get a job in the banking field or to be placed in a good company for an accountant role.

To be honest most of the students don't seek placement since they go for higher education or maintain their businesses. Anyways, placement occurs and some companies like Wipro and MRF may recruit barely by providing packages of like 3.5 to 5 lakhs max. Mostly I plan for pursuing MBA after getting my degree.

From 4 semesters students are trained to attend the campus ( placement) Like Infosys and Wipro Up to 40000rs Should be more than 75 per cent or 65 To write government exams, if more time I will put a second degree at the university

From 3 rd semester, the students are being eligible for campus interviews and placements. There are so many companies who visited our colleges for campus interviews to get proper and disciplined employees for the company.

I chose this course because of my future goals and to achieve my future career. The teacher will teach the lesson in an easy manner and they teach easily to understand. It helps to write the exam very easy

Sixth-semester students can attend the campus placement. The highest package is 50000 per month and also the average package is 20000 to 15000 per month. Above 75 percent can enter into placements. I want to start a business.

the placements are very good they become eligible to attain campus placements from the 6th semester some companies visited in our college they re TCS, CTS ,HCL, Infosys, CTS B School , Kotak life insurance, etc

The students will eligable in 6 semester to attend the campus interview.protech machinery private limited, Olympic card private limited etc. After I finishing my degree I will start a business with my brother

From the 5th semester, the campus interviews for students started. More than 100 companies come to campus throughout the college. The offers are made with a good salary. The highest package is 5 lakhs and the lowest is around 2.4 to 3 lakhs.
