University of Madras Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Final year UG and PG students are eligible to sit in campus interview. As of for Bcom fields 2 companies namely Deloitte for audit assistant and DE shaw for fellowship associate came to hire .Offers made weren't made public.As of now De shaw came with a package of 9lakh/pa but the entrance was difficult and I am not sure if any of them got placed. Decent number of people were selected In Deloitte.I personally feel the percentage of students getting placed should be increased many times, I m looking for placement. I m someone who is looking for a job in the arena of accounts and finance and looking forward to get placed in a good company and looking forward to be an asset to the company and also build a strong foundation for my career

After 5 semesters the candidates were eligible for the campus. Wipro, tcs, Infosys have conducted campus interviews. The highest package for a fresher is 20000. Moreover, more than 50 percent of students got selected on campus before 2020. I had a plan for UPSC so I didn't participate on the campus.

The placement cell is really working well to bring in topMNC's to the college and you will definitely get good placements. As I completed my UG, the UG placements were around 3-4.5 lakhs per annum. Almost everyone who opted for placements will have good offers and they will not be disappointed. I am currently pursuing PGDM as part of my higher studies.

30 percent of students get placements in any of their companies and industries through campus interviews. My plan will do a doctorate in biochemistry and then go for research then invent new things for our humans.

In the last year, the students become eligible for placements. The companies that come for placements are Wipro, TCS and E&Y. The average package provided is 3-3.5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students that get placed is nearly 50%, as in my course the placement is less but in other courses like BCA and MCA, the placement and package is high.

Women's Christian College has an edge over the rest of its competitors due to its collaborative programs with universities in abroad. It is one of the best colleges for Undergraduate programs in Chennai.

From 6semester students are eligible for campus placements. They are offering many companies for placements. Above20 till going for placements. Higher companies like TCS, Sunderland, and many other companies, teachers are offerings for us. The total strength of department till 20 members were getting a placement as they are passing out.

From 6 th sem Amazon, Flipkart, Whirlpool, Samsung Etc 5 lakhs per year was the highest package paid and Lowest 3 lakhs. 75% of students get a placement as per their skills.I will do business because my father has a business too of spectacle shops

The placements are really good. A lot of companies like Deloitte, Dell, McKinsey, ICICI, KPMG recruit the students. The pay scale ranges from 3 to 7 lakhs per annum depending on the company and the post. There are a lot of rounds to be cleared though, like aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews. Almost 70% of the students get placed if they opt for it.

Between the fourth and fifth semesters, students become eligible for placements in many companies Wipro, wondersoft, etc.They looking for nil arrear students from the marks based on 1st and currents or 6th semester 75%. my plan is want to become CA Chartered Accountant
