Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects are designed in such a way that it strengthens the basic and this improves by every semester. Examinations are not that hard, there are model questions from previous years, which makes assumptions quite feasible

It's not updated and i feel like they should review their curriculum and come up with new ones. The teaching methods should be improved. Our syllabus were very unhelpful in the actual world we are living. And i feel like they should update it for the sake of students.

Placement Experience:

Placement training is given from 3rd year and most of the students are placed here and no the companies that comes for placement are multinational company and very renowned companies like TCS and CTS hcl

Since I took up literature I'll say the curriculum met all the needs adiquately it wasn't over the top nor was it insufficient. They gradually teach you the things you might need in your pg as well almost like a warm up

Campus Placements are decent. There were some really good companies - TCS, Calvin Klein, Amazon have visited and offered 1000+ job offers to the students in my past three years. And many other small companies, startups also were there. BTW, I have other plans - UPSC after the graduation

The curriculum for history vocational is fully based on theory. It's better if we had field works and study tours. Most of the subject are spoon fed, everyone relies upon the last year question paper available in the library.

The areas that they can improve thei teaching is they want to ellaborate every topics they take and they have to give special attentions to the students and want to give some class test to know the students level of understanding and the frequency of exams is okay they keep three exams before your semester exams and the difficulty level is not bad

Placement Experience:

The students get a good placement in their third year before ir after the 5th Semester examination. The students need a percentage of 90 and above and they should maintain a good attendance percentage as well of 75%+.

How is University of Madras for distance education I have read many reviews about them taking years to provide with the completion certificates?

The University of Madras is doing a great job as it is providing a distance degree with an affordable fee structure. If you are a working individual and do not wish to quit your job, then joining distance MBA here will be the best option.

The courses and the study materials provided are good. You need to put effort in your studies to succeed. Self study is necessary. If you desire to learn more, you could attend the classes.

After completing the exams you will receive your Provisional certificate, within 4 months you will receive the completion certificate.

Is MSc Mathematics entrance exam in University of Madras is difficult? Is negative marking there for MSc entrance exam?

The M.Sc entrance test conducted by Madras University is not very difficult and it is based on the syllabus of the qualifyng degree. The entrance test will be conducted for 100 questions (MCQs) for 2 hours. There is no negative markin system.
