- The college infrastructure was really good which gives you pleasent mindset for students.
- The college life of students was really good that they enjoy their college life to the core.
- There are several cultural events in MCC which enables the students to participate in several events and helps them to explore and Excel.
Dislikes
- The college canteen prices are reasonable but the quality of the food is not upto the mark.
- It's is casual that some the faculties are bad at teaching and in class participation.
Placement Experience:
MCC has good placement. It attracts several top companies to offer the students better placement experience. From 5th semester students start attending their placements.Students are allowed to have 2 offers. The average package is around 3-5 lpa based on the companies. Companies like Accenture, TCS, NIQ, Barclays, Natwest, Goldman Sachs, HPE, Deloitte regularly visit MCC. I have also got an offer from HPE and the placement experience was really good and helps me to learn more on interview procedures.

- College facilities the space is good and huge has all facilities like huge classroom restroom staff room and the placement is so good. College has canteen and extra food stalls of alumini students, they have food stalls, dress stalls , fancy item etc
- Apart for studies out college gives important to extra activities and sports they always encourage us to take part in ever part of the college event and college activities, this improvers our leadership skills and other skills like communication etc.
- For placement they are giving placement training to develop our selfs and they make us to get ready for our interview. They provide seprate timings and date for placement training they don't merge it with our college studies and timings it helps us.
Dislikes
- College canteen , they provide only vegetarian food in the college campus college has both vegetarian and non vegetarian students but they provide only vegetarian food and jain foods for the jain student but they don't have non vegetarian for non veg
- College timings, college has two shifts morning shift 8 am to 12:40 pm and evening shift 1 to 5:45 pm. For me I'm a morning shift student so it's too early and traveling time is too High to reach clg on time some far students are getup early like 5am
- For all the college event attendance is compulsory for sports day and event like kala utsav etc all should be present and fr this who didn't attend they mark it as absent in my point of view attendance is not mandatory for event right it's can't be .
Placement Experience:
Placement of college is good companies form various field are coming for placement . For each department and couse need they provide placement and placement training.
Companies like Sutherland, tvs etc have comed for placement.
There should be atleast 60 per and there should not be any arrears.
My plans is to finish my ug and to get into dha work throught the placement.

- The Eco friendly campus and herbivoral animal surrounding there makes better place to learn and leap forward in life and Collge is filled with enough trees so ventilation makes good set to learn
- The college pushes their responsibility equally with students by forming unions and hostel is made by students proposes and progressing by forming cabinets so that they make students to build all qualities
- The teaching facilities and advance technology allied with learning helps to hook up high! The college put out many events that makes College life better

- The Fees structure for evening shift students
- The demolition of tradition followed in College and declined approval for pro show i.e concerts during events
- Take over of politics and Christian priority

The Companies like ZOHO,TVS,TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, DELLOLITE, APPOLO, MRF plays their role in Placement for students in MCC and the students should posses more than 8 in CGPA and they are eligible only after 5 th semester

From the third semester students are avail for placements....before which from second-semester students are given training for it. placements training are done at the campus on weekends which provides certificates along with it.

- Psychology dept at MSSW is very open-minded and a well knit group of people, including all the three year students.
- The course covers different aspects of psychology which are important for selection of specialisation at the pg level.
- Faculty members are approachable and even our Principal has an open door policy for any concerns that need to be addressed.
Dislikes
- Administration is generally lagging, information regarding cancellation of classes/holiday is very end minute.
- A few faculty members don't take classes regularly
- Overall exposure/activities happening in college are limited, but are definitely provided.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum focuses on different subjects under psychology, which keeps changing every semester, making the coursework diverse and interesting. This also helps in choosing specialisation fields for further studies as the student gets exposure into each subfield of psychology.
The classes are usually about 40-50 minutes, which is appropriate as per usual attention span.
Exams are in the form of 2 internal assessments, each carrying 25 marks. 2 other internal assignments (1 carrying 10 and the other 15 marks) are conducted. End semester exam is a 100 mark paper, converted to 50. Exams are evenly spaced and can easily be aced if the student is internally well motivated.

- I liked the overall atmosphere of the college. It is located inside a forest-type scenario so even in the scorching heat of Chennai, the college was always cool.
- The faculty in my department seems to be well learned with most of them having a doctorate. No professors usually takes leaves. Most of them come with their syllabus prepared except for some who just read out of a text.
- The campus has very good buildings. Even though it was built long ago, all the rooms are spacious with plenty of windows to let a good amount of sunlight and air in. The drinking water facilities are also good .
Dislikes
- The high cost of rent inside the college is very worrying. We have to pay mess fees every month in addition to the fees we already pay at the beginning of the year. The hostel fees increased by 2000₹ as well when compared to last year.
- The difference in rules for women when compared to men is upsetting. They have different curfew timings and some hostels have better food than other hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very relevant. They change the curriculum regularly to fit the changing standards. A paper that I cleared this year is not there in the curriculum next year for my juniors. There are 3 internal exams. 2 of them will be written while one of them will be a project or viva. The ratio of marks considered from internal exams and semester exams considered in the marksheet is 50:50. The professors usually complete their portions before the exams starts. We will even get some study leaves for studying. The exams are not usually very difficult. One can refer to the previous year question papers which has a lot of recurring questions. These previous year question papers are provided in the website of the college.

- We are not allowed to use mobile phones inside the campus
- Should pay lot of condonation if we lack attendance

We used to have 2 cia in a semester and the course was easy and the teachers were very communicative to us and they help us to understand the course even better which made us to score good in academics

The University of Madras is doing a great job as it is providing a distance degree with an affordable fee structure. If you are a working individual and do not wish to quit your job, then joining distance MBA here will be the best option.
The courses and the study materials provided are good. You need to put effort in your studies to succeed. Self study is necessary. If you desire to learn more, you could attend the classes.
After completing the exams you will receive your Provisional certificate, within 4 months you will receive the completion certificate.

The M.Sc entrance test conducted by Madras University is not very difficult and it is based on the syllabus of the qualifyng degree. The entrance test will be conducted for 100 questions (MCQs) for 2 hours. There is no negative markin system.
