University of Madras Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The structured placement preparation pragrams and career guidance sessions helps the students to perform well in therir interviews. Students become eligible from their 5th semester that is their final years. Companies like Capgemini, Wipro, Private banks has visited for campus placements. 80%-90% of the students get placed in campus interviews. I got offers from two companies as well.

We get good offers from best companies that is provided by college placement cell. Students will become eligible for campus placements from their final year. Companies like Accenture, Agaram technologies, Tagalys, etc. Average package will be 10000 per month. And the students should have alteast 60% CGPA. I'm going to do master's

My course is ba economic it's a rarest course and largest subjects in the course but my college professor is explain easily anything and explain in my mother tongue so i understood fully so easy to write exams

from second sem you are eligible for placements . i got placed in Ntrust company and few small companies visited us , higested paid is 23k for a medical relaed job , 20% get placed and other people get married or go for a pg program . i got my degree and now i am working as a educationl counselor

In our college, terms exams are typically held every two months. and there are also monthly tests. Also our college offers booster tests. Our facilities are generally over educated. Faculty ratio of students about 1:40. Student ratio

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester (6 semester for B.Com) However, there are only few and small companies are recruiting from this college unless there is an intervention from students commitee The highest package offered there is 4.5 LPA but there are many more companies which only provides a small package brings down the average to 3 LPA College and the students committee try harder to get the maximum students placed. In 2022 around 400 students were selected out of 520 students applied for campus placements I have decided to go for a corporate job to be financially independent and pursuing CMA right now with my job

This course I chosen because of I like economics . More students in this department (example: upto 50students in a section). Teachers are amazing and friendly towards students.3hours for exam timing and it's is easy to pass if u understand and studied well .

Placement offers are good but the time for call letter after the selection it takes much longer.Yhe average package is low because the college is much as you expected.The percentagr of getting palcement students is 10%

After completion of the second year the placement starts for the third year students the management will give a prior notification of each and every company. As I have plans of pursuing a professional qualification I didn't attend the campus interviews.

This course was relevant to my streamline so as to continue my higher studies it is very help[ful . THe Faculties have much experience in all the academic fields and they also have industry materials and relevant experience.the exams were literally moderate as they know how to teach but we should also keep our work, right !! and the exams are consistent and very timely in nature.
