- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA
- Lot of exams yearly 3 exams in a semester 2-3 quiz and 1-2 DA ~ Kartik Navnath Narare, B.Tech

- excessive crowd which makes it really annoying
- extremely strict rules and regulations by management
- pda guards that pester you for the smallest of opposite gender touch
Placement Experience:
Placements are usually great but this year it's been shit and the college is not at all transparent about the placement numbers, all 4 VIT campuses have placements together as 1 unit so there really isn't a difference between VIT bhopal and vellore

- Boys to girls ratio is also decent not great
- Online application that helps to track everything
Dislikes
- The strength is very high making difficult for placements
- Rules are quite strict not allowing to go out of hostel after 8 pm
- Hostels are little bit more congested and sophisticated
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester and we will have very good placents in my batch 1Cr is highest package and average package is around 7L, Almost everyone will get placed in the college I can tell it as around 80 to 90 prrcent.

- the campus is really big, you have alot of facilities in the campus itself
- the academics here are excellent this college is reallu good interms of studying
- the teachers here are really informative and they are the masters of their own respective subjects
Dislikes
- the crowd here is too much, the hostels,classrooms shops everything is very much crowded
- in timings are really strict it is said that the in timing is 9pm but the guards start sending you to room at 7:30
- the management here is really bad and there are fines here for everything
Placement Experience:
the placements here are decenent
if you do study and can manage youre cgpa upto 8 then youre good to go you will get good placement here
the best package here was more than 1cr
and the least was 5 lpa
avg was 10 lpa

- Over independent , publick nuisance by couples
- No discipline , no respect to lecturer , and to the tamil orgins
- Smoking and other activities ,, hindhi people dominant as they are high in number
Placement Experience:
Students are allowed to get placed from 5 th year and can do internships in 4 th year itself .
Industrial visit o various companies are taken by the respective subject faculties.
About 85 percent of the students studying here get placed in good companies and I am planning to join in research field or persue my career as a lecturer in any college

- The FFCS (Fully flexible credit system) has helped me complete all my courses before time itself. One can also use it to have much more leisure time.
- Teh campus is large with some great Infrastructure and also so much greenery around the campus. which help one have a great campus life.
- The Internship, Placements opportunities available in the campus are great. Also, the research and student Exchange programs are also very helpful.
Dislikes
- In Integrated MTech (5 years) branches there are so many compulsory courses. and the academics are hectic compared to regular BTech or regular MTech branches.
- The outing limits are other bad thing in the college. Freshers are not allowed for outings for 3 months. Later, the girls will have a much strict regulation on outing timings than the boys.
- There are more than 40,000 students and many other faculty and staff. such a large crowd will make some day-to-day activities tough and also make the academics much more competitive.
Placement Experience:
For the Integrated MTech Branches, which are of 5 years - 10 semesters. the placement training will start form 8th semester and then the Companies come for the Internships and PPO from March month, the placements continue until August - September only for Internships. the Internship will be for 10 months approx in the 5th year. which is substituted for the Capestone project which was supposed to be done.
people who didnt get internship will do Capestone project for the same duration and parallely appear for other Full time role placement oppertunities.
The average CTC is aroung 7LPA to 9LPA. and upto 70% students go intetnships and 90% students are overall placed.
The major comapnies that recruit are Intel, Dell, Nvidia, Nokia, Synopsys, Continetal, NetApp, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Signify, Stryker, Marvel, Mediatek, Genesys and Caterpiller.

- I like the education system they follow, the exam patterns are not old school.
- Campus life is good we are allowed outings of 4 hours on weekends and 2 hours on weekdays.
- We are provided with the ability to choose our own time tables and teachers. I appreciate that independence.
Dislikes
- The cultural gap between south indian tamil culture and others cultures of the north.
- The administration is very insensitive to students.
- The curriculum is intensive. We are not even given holidays after exams. National holidays are ignored and mostly tamil holidays are given
Placement Experience:
We are eligible for placements from the 7th sem. Till now, 150 companies visited and 800 students have gotten placed. The highest package was from google as 70lpa. Only 20 percent have gotten placed in the last 3 months. I plan to get placed and work after my degree.

- The campus is large, green and beautiful, it has many garden areas, playgrounds, all sport facilities, a lot of trees, etc.
- The college has very strict rules and regulations for students, especially girls, which make it safe and reliable for all students.
- The cources and curriculum is distributed in such a way, that it covers every necessary subject thoroughly and follow step by step learning.
Dislikes
- Too hectic schedule for hoatel students, especially sometimes classes end at 7.30 at night
Placement Experience:
Every year more than 95% of the students of the outgoing batch gets placed in good companies. It has an average package of 12lakh and above. It is a good choice for the students in terms of campus placements.

- The interactions between other students in VIT with clubs and chapters made to know about their culture and ethnics
- There are many areas to hangout around campus
- Infrastructure is good and pleasent with big area

- Class timings were not that great and need to go around each n every class
- Foods at canteens are not super good and avg
- Securities who are strict makes us to go in lot of difficult procedures for some misdoings
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are offered at final year of graduation of the course you pursue. VIT offerers better campus placement with good annual package to get our super dream jobs and get settled. The interenships are provided fromt the first year itself and it is super helpful for skill delevlopment

- Versatility , networking opportunity, many clubs are available
- A lot of trees are there in the campus ,the campus is beautiful
- The campus is well equipped and satisfies most of the students needs
Dislikes
- The distance between hostel and school buildings are too much(3km)
- The class rooms are not very ventilated.
- The rules implicated are extremely strict.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was very passionate about my major way before ,I thought they'd start the core concepts at the get go but they did not.and they allotted way less credits in the first semester putting pressure in the upcoming semesters
