About BHU B.Tech
Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year, full-time B.Tech in two branches, Food Technology and Dairy Technology, with 60 seats in all. Both are taught by the Department of Dairy Science and Food Technology at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences on the main campus in Varanasi. Seats are filled through CUET UG scores and BHU's own CAP UG counselling. The full fee is INR 3.20 Lakhs, the same for every branch. The total fees with a hostel room is INR 3.40 Lakhs and the fees without hostel is INR 3.20 Lakhs. The tuition fee is the special course fee of INR 40,000 a semester, paid for 8 semesters. BHU B.Tech Eligibility
You need 50% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English, and you must be 17 to 25 years old on 1 Jul of the admission year. OBC and PwBD students need 45%, and SC and ST students need only a pass. You also need CUET UG scores in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Both branches use the same rule.

The steps are CUET UG, the BHU CAP UG form, your branch order, the fee after allotment and reporting on campus. BHU gives every seat through its own counselling, not JoSAA.
