Jadavpur is a very versatile place. It gives the best of opportunities and the worst of distractions. The political scenario of the place is more disturbed than other places. One has to take responsibilities for one's own actions more than in other colleges. One should have the eyes to discern what is good and what is bad. But yeah, the situation here is nit as bad as the media shows it is. Many people think that JU has very toxic seniors. It is wrong and the seniors are mixed in population. As a whole, one would get very mixed experience here.

Everything has a two phase good and bad but we have to see that it is more good or more bad according to me jadavpur is a good one you will have many other options here which are not present in other college of india

Mindless student politics is a parasite to this university. There are people who act like phd scholar and resides in the campus for almost a generation are the most politically motivated students. Externally they would brain wash any one by saying wrong doing of authorities and government but at the end all they want is entry to the university faculty list by the influence and connection they created over the years of student politics.

The college timing is appropriate for students who want to do something in the morning. The college starts from 12:45 and ends by 5:45 which gives students ample time to work or do other things except the course.

There are so much positive and encouraging to say about my alma mater JU. My college offers the best faculties, the best set of placement companies.

JUDE gives an experience worth of a lifetime. It's the best college to be in. The infrastructure needs to be improved but the faculty and curriculum is top notch. Plus multiple optional courses, classes are available here itself.

No Negative remarks about our college. everything is good here. Starting from the infrastructure then the faculty, the seniors , the passouts all are a family. It is a home away from home.

Jadavpur University is well renowned, academically succeeded university. It has always established a glorious records in terms any field. Negative one would be students are given too much freedom that sometime leads to an unexpected path

This college is very good for Engineering covering the overall aspects. Though now 90% domicile has been brought in, so for Students outside West Bengal it will be really tough to get in. But apart from that, in terms of Teaching to College Environment to Placements, it is a very suitable college for any Engineering aspirant.

In my point of view the there are many positive remarks like the hish speed wifi in campus , good environment, so much greenery etc. And the negative things is the infrastructure. This was so old. That's why not looking so nice.
