University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students get placements from Semester 5 and 6. Various companies visit the college like Tata. The internships occur in all the fields once conducted by Radio Mirchi. Since in the field of psychology we don't get a job as soon as we complete graduation my plans are to pursue my Masters degree and Doctoral degree before getting jobs

From semester six, the students become eligible for campus placement. The companies that visit here are infosys cognizant.and many more. The students are given in on the basis of knowledge performance and the interview given. The averagepackage is 15000. Forty percent of students gets placed every year.

In our college the faculty members are very supporting and there arr very friendly . The all member are master and phd degree holders . And specaly our principal he had a very unic digree and the degree has passed only tree person in west bangal. Our college had online and offline both classes.

I chose this course as becoming a Good Renouned Lawyer was my dream. I have taken admission in Surendranath Law College , Sealdah. The college is the oldest Law institute in India. Dr. Rajendra Prasad , first President of India, did his LLB from this institute. The faculty of this college is quite good, They always help each and every student regarding any doubts and other things. If I talk about exams they are hard under Calcutta University but with the guidance of the teachers of this college it was easy to pass the exams

The course curriculum and faculty members are amazing! The curriculum is well-structured and covers all the necessary topics in-depth, while also keeping up with the latest trends and developments in the field. The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about teaching, making the learning experience both informative and enjoyable. They are always available to help students, answer questions, and provide guidance throughout the course. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the course curriculum and faculty members.

I choose it as its an interesting subject and i want to know more about computers.... thats why i choose "computer science" rather than "computer engineering" , the term exams held after every 5 months which we called as semesters...total we have 8 semesters those who have honours and 6 semesters those who are doing general in any individual subject...

I choose the course of b.sc because this course make lots of opportunities to grow my career and this course (batchelor of science) was not so difficult to pass in semester exam this course have so many subjects like Zoology, botany, physiology, chemistry, physics,mathametics etc.

I have taken Honours subject so I have to be more careful about class es and professor's lecture. And our Faculty membars are no doubt help ful for ev ery study rel ated and college related matter.

The recruiting companies are Magic Bus, TCS, and Axis Bank. Placement cell is active and gives regular internship and fellowship updates. Students of our batch got the opportunity to avail Gandhi Fellowship. There are opportunities for students to do several job-oriented courses to make themselves ready for placements. Infrastructure: Our department has a separate language laboratory, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a departmental library. There is a scribble board in our department, on which students can write their wishes anonymously. Hostel rooms are well-maintained and have toilets. Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college are from renowned institutes like Jadavpur University and the University of Calcutta. Students can connect with teachers personally to discuss different types of problems. Recently, the departments in our college have started one-on-one mentorship programs with specific faculty members. The course curriculum is changed regularly according to contemporary needs. Exams

I have seen scope while persuing B Com (Hons). Student Ratio in offline has some improvement from previously. Teachers are not like proffesional level. Difficulty of exam depend on person effort how much does he put.
