University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Actually I like plant nature that's why I choose botany but after that I get to know that nowadays a minimum students took the course in my year there are only 6 student in which 4 male 2 female students. The qualification of the teaching stuffs are well good but we get less classes to complete our syllabus due to excessive holidays like there was a function 2 days later the college will also suspended before 2days of the function . We have so many practical class we just can't get enough time to cover up the syllabus

I choose this course because from beginning of my 11th standard I had an interest over this subject so I want to explore more on that discipline. The faculties are really good and well qualified but I think the professors should take more classes and held some projects or fieldwork , so that we the students get interest and know more accurately the subject it's intricacy and unknown facts so that we can grew to be a researcher minded, for postgraduation courses. Term exams are held on a gap of 6months, the papers are tough and a bit tricky .

I have chosen the courseout of ultimate passion for films and media. The faculty-student ration is quite appropriate. It varies from department to department. We have 3 teachers in our department. The faculty members are well qualified, they are post-graduated and some are even doing research. Exams were always on time with prior notice. Difficulty level is moderate.

It is a govt aided college that why the total fees in the college less than other college total faculty 7 and student 85 so the ratio is 1:12 all professors are well qualified industry experts some are phd holders its affiliated by calcutta university so the exam questions are moderate

I chose because I will opt for Law School after giving LSAT, so I needed a base for my law school studies. The faculty to student ratio is sufficient. The qualification of the professors should be minimum PHD. The university exams are not tough to pass and the timings are very convenient for the students but the university should be aware of announcements they make regarding exams.

I choose accountancy Honours because i wanted to be a businessman. That's why I chose B.com Honours .At my college, the faculty-student ratio is impressive, creating a conducive learning environment. With a lower ratio, students benefit from more personalized attention and interaction with the faculty. It fosters a supportive atmosphere for academic growth and engagement.

I choosen this course because i am interest in English language and literature. All the students are very helpful. The teaching method is good and helpful. There is no difficulty to pass the term exams.

I like this course . Our faculty for student retio is quite good . But it need to be better.Qualification of tge faculty & review teaching method is adorable in my opinion.it's not difficult to pass the exam , but some times they are difficult to pass .

The college provides placements for the students every year. I have not heard any students to get a placement from the college. As I am student of english literature, I am looking forward to take my masters after my degree. As I want to become a teacher in future. As we all know the state of west bengal in undergoing in a crisis of jobs due to some corrupted government officials.

The choice for my course was absolutely my own interest. The faculty is better to what I thought it would be like and I have never faced any problems as such. No idea about the qualification of the faculty but teaching method is better than what is done in other colleges. The min gap between each term is 6 months and if someone studies well then it's not that difficult to pass
