The course is very expansive and offers several careers, I chose this course as I like literature. There are around 9 teachers on the faculty, and there are around 20 students in each class. The teachers are very knowledgeable and welcome questions. One must study hard to pass the exams with good marks as the checking of papers is serious.

Like all engineering colleges in our college after 3rd year you are eligible for campus placement. How are the placements at Calcutta University for CSE and ECE? The Placement of CSE and IT is very good this year 2022 2022 batch placement for CSE/IT. Siemens 20 Lpa, Credit Suisse 18 Lpa, Accolite 12 Lpa,Accenture 10 Lpa, Alumnus software 10 Lpa, L&T infotech 8 Lpa,persistent systems 9 Lpa, CESC 8 Lpa, IBM 7.25 Lpa,PwC 8.4 Lpa, GBS 6.5 Lpa,TCS digital 7.2 Lpa,cognizant GenC Next 6.75 LPA plus other companies like distronix, Mindtree, TCS Ninja, Infosys, cognizant, simpsoft etc. This is on campus Placement record A lot of students got off-campus Placement and students there from CU easily get placed in MNCs like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Adobe, and Goldman Sachs..with salaries over 27 LPA because of the in-depth knowledge they gain in CU, which also helps them to crack GATE, CAT UPSC with the top result. Also for non-tech departments like Polymer science technology, chemical engineering

I was eligible for other courses like Opto electronic, and Polimer Science technology but I chose Chemical Technology because I have too much interest in that domain. Our faculty members are too good and well qualified.

As there are only 3 batches passed out but placement is great and it's increasing exponentially time by time. Overall average package is almost 6 LPA. For case, it average package is 8-8.5 LPA and 100% placement for ie and ee 90% placement and the average is 6lpa, for pst 100% placement and 6-6.5 LPA, force 90% and 5 LPA for ct,ece, one and pst placement are not good.

I opted for Honours in English because I love literature, and it has a lot of scope in my career. There are 8-9 teachers and the class strength is around 20. The teachers have all qualified Masters in English though none of them hold P.hD in English. Each semester is 6 months and there is a mid-semester exam after 3 months and an end-semester exam in the 6th month. There are also class tests and assignments. The checking is strict and one must study hard to score good marks.

I chose this course as I wanted to study it. Students are too many in Bachelor of Commerce as compared to B.Sc. and BA departments. The college holds Continuous internal Assessments which are actually of great use. The faculties are excellent.

I chose this subject because the faculty is better than any other college in my area. Hod is very strict and regular classes are held and make students understand every topic very nicely. There are 4faculty members in the sociology department and all the teachers are the best and teach us very properly. We had 20 strengths in the class. This College has a digital class for special courses but normally the classroom is very airy and eco-friendly. We had an exam before our semester and had a practical exam also.

I opted for a bachelor of commerce in accounts and finance (Hons ), the faculty was good and highly educated it was a semester based exams which mean gave a total 6 exams throughout the course, and the exam are not exactly easy to pass, I would say the paper were moderate and not so easy to pass.

There is no such eligibility like from this or that year a student can go for placement. Even students in 1st yr can also apply for the placement. Before the placement is held, the students are prepared by various workshops that the college provides. More than 60% of students get placement. The average package is 150000.

End of the 2nd year exam our college provided placements to students. Many companies visited our college like TCS, TLS etc. If you get above 60% then you will get a chance to attend the campus. Then it will depend on your interview
