University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course because I like to learn more about tax and want yo achieve a good job in a combany. The college provides hight quality facility for the students. The teachers in this college is hight talented and kind hearted. They give their best for students to achieve rank and good marks in university exams. The college provide exams every month so that students can secure good marks in there final exams. The paper given by the college is very difficult for making students work hard more to achieve good marks. The teachers are ready to clear any doubts of students at any time without any hesitation.

I chose Mathematics because, I love the subject, and also the department is very good in the college. There are five full-time faculty. And the faculty: student is ratio is 1:9 approx. Every faculty member has a Ph.D. after their name. College took the internal exam and it's easy to pass. Every teacher gives their maximum effort. And our college has taken a record number of online classes in the pandemic.

Science especially biology has always been my subject, it was one of the subjects I was naturally drawn to hence, my choice. The faculty of Charuchandra College is exceptional. They will go to greater ends to help you. 100% of the faculty members hold PhD degrees and have great experience in teaching. Regularly only 20 sometimes only 2 students were present in the class but that doesn't stop the lecturers. They take classes even if there is only one student present. The faulty is highly dedicated. Talking about exams, they are never easy considering the subject they were extremely difficult. The study material and notes provided by the teachers were helpful and paved the way for us to sore better each time.

From the beginning of the 3rd year everry students got chance for placements in the company like Ca farm google and many more . And every company giving salary about 10 to 20 lack per annum about 80 performance our student got good placements from our college

After 3rd Year you will be selected for an interview. The company name is global Christian, Tata, Jio Hitachi. The highest salary offered: 42lakhs per annum, the lowest salary offered: Around 6lakhs per annum The average salary offered: 21lakhs per annum LG company, Tech Mahindra, CTS, etc. are the recruiters. Software developer, Web developer, Pentester, Cloud computing, etc. are the roles offered. 90 percent of students got internships from our course and in companies LG, Tech Mahindra, etc.

The percentage of students getting placements is not that good and that is why there are less number of students. Students pass in higher numbers and that is why there are a lot of students who are jobless. I am going to get masters degree from the same college after my bsc in maths.

At the end of all semesters, the students can eligible for placement. It is a degree course college so here we are not offered any job or something. But in the end, the students can go for higher studies like a master's degree or they can prepare for competitive exams. My planning is to prepare for competitive exams and I already started that process.

I choosen this course because of interest in the field of Information techn...ugy. Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculty is 7 to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD. Term exams held two times ever year. Difficulty is moderate.

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Tata, Microsoft, Amazon etc visited our college and about 7to 9 lakh package they have given. Higher package 1crore and lower package is 10 lakh. About 90% of students get placement. I want to work in Microsoft, Google.

The reason for choosing B.com(Hons) was I wanted to do CA and it would be very helpful for me to prepare for my CA examination as the subject's in b.com(Hons) is similar to the CA subjects. The faculty members of our college are very supportive. The Professor of our college are well qualified and they have teaching experience for many years. Almost all the teachers are good except for some. They try to make us understand the subjects properly and they give their best for making us understand the chapters. After the completion of every chapter, the teacher conducts a small test. The internal exam takes place one month before the final semester exam. During the offline exam, It was quite difficult to get Mark's in CU as they are quite strict while checking the answer sheet.
