University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

First of all. I love the tag Calcutta University. And i want to become a direct student of this college. Secondly I wanted to complete my graduation in human development and no other college was there to do this. This college campus is one of the best place with great faculties. The campus is nature friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified in our college. Teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is not 100% relevant. Some teachers were very good at teaching but some were not. Especially the English teacher is the best. Other: I choose this course because I think my course is very simple and not complicated. The best thing about my courses is that the syllabus is very good. If the classes are held regularly then our course will improve. Event like Saraswati Puja is held in our college.

It's not only college it's a university.it's a campus of home science department.this is the best college for nutrition science. the professors are too good and friendly us(students). And the environment is also eco-friendly.

I don't have any bad remark about my college life. The college was good, proffessors were good and the friends which I made were good too.

This is the overall pretty good college if you want to pursue the academics in the commerce background.

From my conclusion I don't think this college is for placement and further studies the faculty is not responsible nor good enough and the students also not follow much protocol provided by the college

College management is good & helful overall. If I would to rate the college, I would have given 4 out of 5.

It is a very reputed college in Kolkata for students opting for BCom (third best in Kolkata after St. Xaviers and Goenka). Also at our time there was not very strict attendance requirements unlike in Xaviers and Goenka. (Although recently they have become very strict in attendance requirements). Since I was also pursuing Chartered Accountancy side by side it was ideal for me to opt a college which was not very strict in their attendance requirements.

Shri Shikshayatan College is one of the best girls college education centre in Kolkata. It ranks among the top ten girls colleges. It has great faculty. It has facilities like good infrastructure, greenery, cafeteria, games, sports and a great library.

Firstly for the tag university of Calcutta. Then i love the subject human development and I want to earn the degree of b.sc honours. Then about the fees structure. It really very nominal. As the faculties are so good and the campus is so well maintained with great infrastructure.
