Students from 2nd yr are eligible for campus placement Many companies come to college like KPMG, CROZIO,PwC and many more Average company packages depends upon the skills of the students and the vacancies they have for the student overall the placement opportunities are quite good here

I am pursuing BA honours on the subject sociology as sociology is a very new subject to the society so when I start reading the subject it seems very interesting but not only by saying but when you start reading the book or the chapter or the information that are provided in a sociology book it is very helpful you get to know your society in a much better way science maths commerce and other subject are also useful but when you study sociology maybe you don't have much job opportunities but if you learn the thing you can get a better thinking about what is going on in the society and you can relate your life with it and if you start relating what wrong and what right you can choose your career or future accordingly

The faculty members are great all the professors are highly qualified. almost every professor holds a PhD degree and some of the professors have their own written books. I choose b.com because I am pursuing my CA course That's why I need to do b.com for better knowledge and also for the scholarship. At Calcutta University, the exams are too tough and less time.

The placement of the college is as far the best than any other college in West Bengal for a similar or same course. Few of the top companies such as Pwc, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Accenture etc come to hire students every year.

All the third year students are applicable for the place campus placement almost around 10 companies visit every year on the first week of January it may be TCS cognizant or some private banks for their insurance and loan department. The highest salary ever given for 5.5 lakh and the average salary is around 3 lakhs per annum. The student must get around 55% in every semester that he or she has given and there should not be any shorts of backlog in the previous semesters. I plan to do a masters in English after my course is over.

If you really want to be prepared for the real world, Not only this college but no other college will teach you how to prepare yourself for the real world. This college has issue of time management even in normal class days

Students becomes eligible in 3rd year of their graduation for campus placements. Companies like Wipro,TCS have been visited.As per my information Highest is like 12Lakhs(approx) and average is 4-5lakhs(approx.). About 40% of the students getting placements.I done have plans to get placements. I want to clear my CA and then get under the articleship, internship and then open my firm.

I have liked this course so much just because I had so much interest in the accountancy field. our teaches us really well about our course..they have to be available on time whenever we needed them..the exam timing is good we get enough time for examination.

First of all i am commerce student in class 11 and 12 ... And my aim is to be a CA ... I love account problen and also the management part of this course and economics also...which is very much important for knew the our country status....

The course curriculum is set by University of Calcutta and is designed in a way that truly helps you understand the subject. The Economics course has a lot of quantities and analytical teachings as a part of the course. The course is useful for those aspiring to work in research, corporate sector, public sector etc.
