Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing BA honours on the subject sociology as sociology is a very new subject to the society so when I start reading the subject it seems very interesting but not only by saying but when you start reading the book or the chapter or the information that are provided in a sociology book it is very helpful you get to know your society in a much better way science maths commerce and other subject are also useful but when you study sociology maybe you don't have much job opportunities but if you learn the thing you can get a better thinking about what is going on in the society and you can relate your life with it and if you start relating what wrong and what right you can choose your career or future accordingly
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pursuing sociology honours from the college Ashutosh which is affiliated to Calcutta University . It is the best Government College in Kolkata and it provide us with all necessary equipments that we need to study a particular subject Ashutosh college has all the courses that a student wants to do for an example from BA honours in sociology two psychology to botany to zoology including fisheries and et cetera similarly like BBA on nurse BCom extra you can purse you from this college if he talk about the infrastructure tho the college is very old it's very old and it is always under construction like somewhere the other the construction is going on so that the students in future don't suffer any problem and like we are not suffering but when we use to go it's always like sounds of knocking or something but all over it is good.
Campus Life
In our college we have four kind of waste in a year one is bosonto utsav then like annual face then and annual concert and then a band performance by some famous musical band, Each of departments organise their own freshers and farewell like they are not interly with each other they just prepare themselves no college is included in freshers and farewell at it all on the union members Do it is a government college we cannot expect much but it provides all the necessary information equipments that is required in the school in in a government college not in school in a government college We have early sports like Ashutosh cricket league Ashutosh football league then some cooking competitions etc There are 4 basic groups not such clubs but 4 Pacific group where student can get enrolled and they can just go it for further use like they are bijoli than singles then warriors etc
Admission
The eligibility to choose the course was above 90% and a lot of people applied for this course and the cutoff marks was 92% so like the students who belong from the schedule caste or scheduled tribe they got the chance first and last I got the chance like in the third least I got my name as my percentage was below 85 because I have 425 in my class 12 exam from Calcutta Public School. I got this application form in the website of Ashutosh college and it was very it was very easy process to fill the form and I just went to college for further details and I just admission online
Faculty
Teachers are very helpful in the class they provide us with all the equipments needed and they support us when we are in any problem and they give up the time maybe sometimes we are busy or something but whenever we call them the pickup are call and solve problem problem.
