- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Students staring from the 5th semester are eligible for placement. . The placements ofb GEC is co ordinated by the placement cell of the college. . The placement cell is very efficient. The number of placement offers varies from department to department.

Students are available for applying for campus placements in the 6th semester .company that have visited or college involves L and T , visco there had been recent surge in the number of offers made. It depends on the status of differnt companies in that particular year .percentage of students getting placed is less may be like 30-40 percentage .I plan on pursuing masters and getting placements via masters or preparing for exams of Kerala government and central government which is ssc and pac

The students are eligible for placement from S6 . Placement is one of the best whole Kerala. The top companies like TCS WIPRO ORACLE recruit student through several procedure. The average package offered is 8 lpa.

- Mess food is not good... Provides the same food with same menu
- Filter is not working.Since ith is summer climate all prefers to drink cold water
- Some washrooms fan light ...etc of some rooms are not working

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 3 Rd year onwards.we have a placement cell that helps to get placement easily.They provide all helps for achieving placement in the best company....

Gec is best college , civil engineering in gec isbthe best dept which show various career option beyond limit ,here with in many gec has best career option it binds many many jib opportunity for students

- The arts and cultural fest in this college is a better experience for the students.

- There two tech fest in this college. One of them is not that much good
- Lengthy duration of classes. One period is almost like 1 hr and 10 minutes
- The closing time for hostel is 8 30pm which is too early.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements at fifth semester onwards. Companies like Wipro and so on came with many offers. The highest package that a company offers is about 240000 per annum. My plan is to get a better campus placements in one of the best company.

- The sport section for the college is great , with professional trainer great equipments and wonderful infrastructure.
- The academics is another highlight of the college with great faculties and provisions for improving oneself
- Social life in this college is top notch with zero tolerance against ragging.
Dislikes
- The lab curriculum is quite bad would love to see an improvement in them.
- The menu for vegetarians is very bad and must be improved.
- The exams should be conducted in proper intervals and should try to conduct it within the stipulated time.

Students become eligible for placement after the 5th semester. The college has comparatively great placement offers , with the year 2023 seing a record placement in GECT history . A wide variety of companies come for the placement and there are big name in them too. A decent about 30% of the students get campus placement .
I plan to do my mtech as my next step in my career.

Ofcourse our college provides placement opportunity for the students starting from semester 6 and they also arrange mock interviews and exams for the students appearing for the placements many core companies with a good salary package visits our college every year

The course and curriculum activities of our college is very good . They are better than other engineering colleges . The faculties help us in our needs , they help us in our academic activities as well as sports and other extra curricular activities.

Excellent curriculum for getting job opportunities makes efficient in mechanical engineering. Not enough time for studies due to frequent examinations and congested time schedule. There should be improvement in time management

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
