- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

The course is very futuristic one and I love the course.it is dream course.the curriculum prepares i for real world application is very good.the areas for improvement in the course and curriculum that through the technological ways such as should be a tv on every class rooms.the timing of exam and the difficulty level of the exam are normal for the students

The curriculam prepares i for real world applications are very good

- I learned so much things during my time there both academically and personally. The curriculum was rigorously and comprehensive. Covering lots of things in my field.
- I had the opportunity to learn from highly qualified Professors who were experts in their respective field
- The practical exposure through labs session, projects and workshop are greatly enhanced my understanding and skill set
Dislikes
- Dealing with administrative procedures and papper work could be cumbersome and time consuming
- The college offered Industry interaction and internship , i felt that i could have been more robust initiative to bridge the gap between academic and industry
Placement Experience:
In my college there are more opportunity to get placed. And lot of placements are coming and hiring more students. The average CTC is 36 lakh. In this year a 80 percentage of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is I have to take master degree

- A well organized exam question paper patters
- Can score good by studying 4 modules exact
- Festivals and techfest celebrations are on another level
Dislikes
- Small syllabus for software studies like AutoCAD
- Some semester exams will not get any time gap to prepare for exams.
- Continuous changes in exam time table and tight schedulings some time
Placement Experience:
From sixth semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements in our college. For civil the major core companies are Arbie structures, L&T etc. about 3 to 5 Lpas offers and many got placed from our batch. Approximately about 75% students got placed. My plan after was to go for higher studies

- The faculties are very good. They had a good knowledge about the subject they are taking
- The infrastructure is good in our campus.
- Campus life is better as there in no strikes in the campus, no ragging.
Dislikes
- The internship facility should be taken mandatory in last year
- There should be above 90 percent students placed after the course through campus placement
- Students should get more practical knowledge about the course

Placement Experience:
From semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, PROCSYS, PHISCAPE, PLANETSPARK, QSPIDERS, MANAPPURAM FINANCE are some of the companies and the average salary offer is around 30000 to 40000. Above 50 percent get placed. After getting degree I am going to work under a A grade license contractor for 1 year for taking an A grade supervisor license.

- Faculty delivers good lectures and is supportive
- There are many cultural and technical clubs which we can take part of
- The college is very active with many events going on every weekend
Dislikes
- The hostel provided has many food issues
- The college does not have a big campus overall
- The placement cell is very poor as there are many miscommunications in their part
Placement Experience:
The placements are average. Not many core companies approach. So the oppurtunity to get into companies of same domain is very less. Although there are many mass recruiters coming which will take lot of students for very base packages.

- The Campus Life is amazing as we are provided of a lot of freedom to do anything and follow our passions from technical to any cultural aspects.
- The faculty provides a lot of help with any problems that we faced from anything that's scheduled later to projects. They are they provide a lot of help while doing projects from providing the required components, the technical knowledge, etc.
Dislikes
- Can only say one negative thing about the ubiversity as it provides a very hectic schedule solution to the students each semester. And it's very jam-packed and very short of working days.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The electronics and communication calls in our college is an 8 semester course which emphasizes on both theory and practical application. This course helped us to gain knowledge on every electronics. Related areas such as micro controllers, microprocessors. VLSI logic circuits very low languages. Digital systems, etc. At our college department. We have a number of various laboratories for various electronics related areas. We have both theory and law exams conducted every semester. We have opportunity to do project from the sixth sem itself. Apart from our main project in the last year. One suggestion I have is that the course must focus more on pracitcals rather than theory.

- More than academics i love the campus life with friends.
- There are wide opportunities in our college to showcase both technical and cultural skills.
- Moreover,this is one of the best college in Kerala for engineering which have a high placement opportunities and other skills compared to its competitors.
Dislikes
- The sem is a bit rushed and we are not getting enough time to prepare or study for exams.Because of this we are not getting expected results.
- This is not a 24 hr campus and our access to certain amenities is limited beyond a point.
- The curriculum needs an overall upgrade as it's more depended on theory than on practicals as companies nowadays require more practical experience and on textbook knowledge
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester one day celebrable for campus placements more than 200 + Companies have visited the college during last 5 years and have provided placement for about 1500 + students. Major recruiters include Amazon, Google, Texas instrumentation Shobha construction, Larsen and Turbo, Saint Gobain etc. College has offered the highest package of about 33 lakh per annum for the EC department.Average package provide is 6 lach per annum. My plan is to get placed in a good company but even if I am not able to get into this couse offers wide opportunities as one can pursue higher studies and be successful in our career

- This is not 24hr campus and we have limited time to access labs and libraries

Average package provided is 6 lakhs for annum,. My plan is to get placed in a good company but even if I am not able to get into this course,this course provide opportunity as one can purse you highest

- festivals are verey good and there are lot of festivals called dhristi,dhani, disha.
- placements are also very good. average package is around 6lpa
- there is a lot of freedom in the college. we can enter in to the college till 9.30pm and there is timing in hostel. we can go anywhere anytime
Dislikes
- faculty is not good. they didnt know have much knowledge and they waste a lot of time of the students
- infrastructure is not that great. bathrooms are poor.college gym is small.

placements are very good.placements mainly come in seventh and eighth semester. there are lot companies coming. last year texas instruments came and 3 students were placed for 34lpa. also there are lot of it companies.around 70% students gets the placements. i recently placed on a company in Trivandrum. average package is around 6lpa.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
