- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is outdated and we don't have that much real world applications nowadays and these academic system.
Everything needs to change into a new format.
It is very speedy the exams happening need to elaborate the duration.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The mechanical engineering is also more practical oriented, but also the academic year is very less and couldn't manage the time period.The university will be provided the project hours In 7th and 8th semester is very helpful

- Doesn't giving much importance to non-curricular activities
- They only conduct hackathon, Internships rarely
- Canteen facility should be improved and need to be extended
Placement Experience:
Seventh semester onwards we got placement offers. Around 15+ companies visited which related to technical and non-technical job roles. Companies include TCS, Titan steel(TEAL), South Indian Bank, Mitsogo, UST global, Speridian, Haritha Techserv, Cognizant. Highest package around was South Indian Bank which offered 12 LPA and average package were almost 4.5 LPA. Around 70 percentage of students got placed through campus placement. My plan is to go for the placement provided by the college for the experience

- The faculty in the college is very helpful and are always ready to clear the doubts no matter how long it takes.
- The infrastructure of the college is really beautiful as it is located on top of a hill.
- The college fest called tharang, which is a two day event is a must attend programme.
Dislikes
- The uniform should have been of a darker shade so that it doesn’t get dirty very fast.
- WiFi in the college is restricted where a student cannot access different websites even if it’s for projects or education.
- The programs conducted in the auditorium are sometimes not audible properly because of the acoustics.
Placement Experience:
Students are usually eligible for placements from the seventh semester. Companies that visited including South Indian Bank,TCS,Infosys,LGB industries,Haritha Techserv were I got placed. The offer usually varies from 2,50,000 to 12,00,000 per annum, where South Indian Bank provided the highest package. Almost 60 to 70%of the students got placed this year into various companies.I am currently doing my training with Haritha Techserv after which I'll start my job.

- The first thing i liked about the college is ofcourse the subject i selected to study ECE.
- The friends i had in college and dome of the faculty.
- I like the lab facilities and the fest that happened in the college
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college at the time of my graduation is pretty bad.
- Project team the facilities forr nee items are less their.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum we had is mostly theory-based and there are practical labs of course up to the sixth semester but still the theory portions are more. And the lab facilities are not that much good. I personally think we need more advanced curriculum to get a better job in the field and enhance more knowledge.

- Sometimes time would not be given enough to complete studying
- Due to corona virus the nunber of holidays were greatly reduced
- The teachers should have arranged more coding classes for cracking placement drives
Placement Experience:
There are many placement drives conducted in our college. Students become eligible to attend placement drives from seventh semester. Companies auch as Qburst, Haritha techserv, Samudra marine institute have conducted placement drives in the college. They have offered 3.5 lpa, to 7 lpa offers. I have got placement from Haritha techserv

- The college environment is positive and amazing
- The faculty members are very supportive and friendly
- The technical event tharang was superb and informative
Dislikes
- I don't like the weekly exams. Even though it was helpful at times it felt like it wasn't done in a proper way.
- Only some of the classes are air conditioned. It would be better if all the classes are like that.
- The canteen of the college needs a urgent renovation. It is like an eyesore to the whole infrastructure of the college.
Placement Experience:
From seventh semester onwards the college will train for our placement. we have placement training classes for aptitude,c programming, python etc. The companies visited is harita techser, qburst,TCS.The average package is 450000 and also around 40% of students got placed at different companies.

Around 150-200 are made each year
Highest package is 12lakh per year and avg package is 4 lakh per year
Around 70% to 80% student grt placed every year

- The mentorship quality of the faculties and their relationships with students are very friendly in most of the departments.
- The monthly student council meeting for each department to discuss how to improve the methods of teaching as well as studying along with the other problems was effective to a great extent.
- The tech fest conducted each year and the extra curricular activities are very memorable.
Dislikes
- The placement cell was very much better compared to the other colleges as we got much more placements. But the qualities of the job given to the students can be improved much better
- The lab facilities we get is good. The lab faculties are also of great help. But rather than doing some fixed experiments there is no further development in the practical knowledge of the students. The college should take more initiative in this.
- The college infrastructure is very good. The only problem is that the canteen is not very hygienic. The building is very old and it needs a quick remodeling.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements starts from the sixth semester. Normally the most of the companies will IT companies. But this year was a little different. Because many core companies came to the college for recruitment. The highest salary package was 7-9Lpa which was an IT company. Many of the students got placed. The placement was about 60%. I am currently recruited as a graduate engineer trainee under the company Harita techserv and doing the training for the job. I got placed in the company through campus recruitment.

- The college had good teachers. They where very good at teaching. Core subject where taken by good teachers.
- The labs of the college where good. We had all the equipments to study. And also
- The college had good cultural fests like tharang.
Dislikes
- Some teachers weren't teaching properly. Like the subject circuits and networks. The teacher who taught us this subject was not teaching properly.
- In labs teachers where not involved in teaching. They where there only to sign record books. The lab assistants where good and they ehere teaching properly.
- The college is situated in a hill place and had to walk 1 km to college from bus stop.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students were eligible for campus placements. And student can apply for placement.
There where very few companies coming for placements. Only IT companies where coming. There where less chance for electrical engineering students. And also some of the companies they place where very bad to work.
The companies visited where LGB coimbatore, Accenture, Qburst, TCS, Manappuram finance,Sutherland, etc...
If students have some supplimentries, they where not allowed to participate in the placements.
The percentage of students getting placed where around 40 percentage.
Highest package where 12 lpa and lowest where 2.5 lpa.
I plan to work as an electrical engineering for around one year in India and then to go abroad for job.

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur.
