Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science is a post-graduate degree which aims at providing specialized knowledge of national and international political systems. This course is open for students with a Bachelor degree in any stream of minimum 3 years duration. The duration for the program is 2 years. Average tuition fee for MA Political Science in India falls in the range of 15,000 INR to 50,000 INR for two years.

Eligibility Of the Master of Arts [MA] (Political Science)

The basic eligibility for admission to MA Political Science is a Bachelor degree in any stream preferably Arts and Humanities. Although students with a graduate degree in other streams can also apply. The minimum marks varies form 45% to 50% in graduation and may vary for different universities. The minimum pass percentage is higher for non-humanities courses. 

How to Get Admission in Master of Arts [MA] (Political Science)

The general process of admission is either merit based or through an entrance test which is conducted separately by respective universities.

Entrance Test

The forms for entrance test are generally available from February to the month of June. Entrance test is conducted in the months of May and June. The entrance test paper may contain objective or descriptive or both type of questions. The questions in the test are asked from the following topics:
