TS LAWCET 2026 seat allotment is conducted entirely online at lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in in multiple rounds. The system processes each student’s TS LAWCET rank, category, and web option priorities to assign the best available seat. Follow these steps to participate in the allotment process:

1. Registration and Fee Payment: Register on the counselling portal and pay the processing fee online using the payment modes listed on the portal.
2. Certificate Verification at HLC: Visit a designated Help Line Centre (HLC) with all original documents. Category certificate, income certificate (for EWS), and study certificates are verified at this stage. Students without valid category proof are treated as OC.
3. Web Options Entry: After HLC clearance, log in and enter your preferred colleges and programs in order of priority. Enter as many options as possible — more options improve allotment chances.
4. Seat Allotment by Algorithm: The TGCHE system allocates the best available seat matching your rank, category, and web option priority. No manual intervention is involved.
5. Allotment Result (Round 1 — July 21, 2026): Log in to download your allotment order. The order confirms the college, program, and category under which you have been allotted.
6. Freeze, Float or Slide: After downloading the allotment order, choose your option — Freeze (accept and stop), Float (accept current seat but seek a better option in the next round among your higher web option choices), or Slide (accept current seat but seek a college lower on your preference list in the next round).
7. Report to College: Pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted college within the deadline with all original documents. Failure to report within the stipulated time forfeits the seat.

Students who freeze their seat do not participate in further rounds. Those who float or slide remain in the pool for subsequent rounds. Unallotted students in one round are automatically considered for the next round without re-applying.

Carry originals and self-attested photocopies of all the documents listed below to the Help Line Centre during certificate verification, and again while reporting to the allotted college. Incomplete documentation can result in the allotment being cancelled.
