    Eligibility Criteria to appear for TS LAWCET 2020 for 3 year LLB or 5 year LLB course is defined by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE. Indian nationals satisfying local/ unreserved status laid down by the governing body can Apply Online from March 6, 2020.

    • Exam Dates for TS LAWCET 2020 have been revised, it will be conducted on May 27, 2020.
    • The exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer based test.
    • Candidates with minimum 45% marks in 10+2+3 scheme of examination can apply for 3 Year LLB program.
    • To apply for 5 year integrated law program, candidates have to secure minimum 45% marks in 10+2 exam. 

    General Eligibility for TS LAWCET

    There are few criteria that are common to both of the programs (3 year LLB and 5 year LLB programs). They are listed below:

    On the basis of Residence

    • Indian citizen who is a native resident of Telangana
    • Indian citizen and whose one or both parents were domiciles of Telangana
    • Indian citizen and whose both or any one of the parents had studied Telangana

    Note: Candidates are required to provide citizenship proof. The certificate of residential proof must be obtained from the recognized body in the state of Telangana.

    On the basis of Age Limit

    There is no upper age limit for a candidate to apply for the Telangana Common Entrance Test 2020. 

    Eligibility for 5 year LLB Program

    Aspirants seeking admissions to 5 year LLB Program offered by various colleges in the state of Telangana, have to fulfill the following criteria:

    Age Limit

    Candidates should be minimum of 17-years of age at the time of the exam.

    Educational Qualifications

    • Intermediate graduates or of an equivalent exam from any recognized state or central board.
    • Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam is needed for students of General/OBC category to appear for the exam.
    • SC/ST category candidates are required to have a minimum of 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam.

    Eligibility for 3 Year Program

    TS LAWCET 2020 Eligibility for 3 Year Program

    Law aspirants willing to pursue masters in Law from TSCHE need to meet the criteria mentioned below:

    Age Limit

    A candidate should be a minimum of 21 years of age at the time of the exam. The age limit will be counted up to December 31, 2020.

    Educational Qualifications

    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any discipline and from a State or Central University.
    • Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category must have a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam
    • Candidates of SC/ST category are required to have a minimum of 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
    • Candidates who are in the final year of college can apply for the program if they satisfy other eligibility requirements.

    TS LAWCET Registration

    Registration Process of TS LAWCET

    Aspirants who match the eligibility standards can go through the following application procedure brief:

    Step 1: Fee Payment & Payment Status

    In order to access the form, candidates must pay the application fee. There is two mode of payment viz.

    • TS/ AP Online – where a candidate must report to the nearest TS/ AP Online center with the mandatory documents.
    • Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking – candidate must read all the instructions carefully and then click on ‘Make Payment’ option.

    After the completion of fee payment, the status of the same must be checked. Enter the qualifying exam Hall Ticket No. and Mobile No. and click on ‘Check your Payment Status’ tab. After this, candidates will have two options:

    • Fill in the Application immediately (or)
    • Fill in the Application at a later date

    Step 2: Fill TS LAWCET Application 

    After successful payment, candidate has to fill in online application form. After entering the required details, it is advised to preview the form and then submit it. 

    Step 3: Print Application Form 

    After submission of Application Form, candidate can take a printout of the submitted form.

    Ques. What are relaxation in Eligibility Criteria of TS LAWCET 2020? 

    Ans. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are provided a relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks. 

    Ques. I have scored 44.5% in my qualifying exam, am i eligible to apply TS LAWCET 2020?

    Ans. Yes, If you belong to General Category and have scored 44.5% marks in your qualifying examination you can appear in TS LAWCET. As your scores will be rounded off to 45% which is minimum marks required. 

    Ques. What are the revised dates for TS LAWCET 2020?

    Ans. Osmania University, the exam conducting body for Telangana State Common Law Entrance Test has revised the dates for 2020 session. It will now be conducted on May 27 instaed of May 20, 2020.

    Ques. What is the Qualifying Criteria for TS LAWCET 2020? 

    Ans. General Category candidates securing 35% (42) marks out of 100 are eligible to appear in counselling sessions of TS LAWCET. There is no qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates.  

    Ques. Are there any TS LAWCET Test Centers outside the state of Telangana?  

    Ans. TS LAWCET will be conducted in 23 cities in the state of Telangana. Apart from this there are 4 regional test centers in Andhra Pradesh only. There are no centers in  other states of India.

    Ques. I am a physicall challenged person, what documents i have to carry at the TS LAWCER exam center?

    Ans. Candidates with Physical Disabilities are required to carry PWD certificate to the exam center.

    Ques. Can i avail Scribe facility to appear for TS LAWCET 

    Ans. In order to avail scribe facility, candidates have to take a approval letter from TSCHE beforehand. Failing to do so will lead to non-availability of scribe at the exam center.
