NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
TS LAWCET Exam Pattern: Exam for both the papers will be carried out in computer-based mode. This year, Osmania University has scheduled the papers for May 26 across 12 cities in the state of Telangana.

Osmania University will hold the exam on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education). There are three sections in the examination. They are as follows:
Part A: General Knowledge and Mental Ability
Part B: Current Affairs
Part C: Aptitude for the Study of Law

The law entrance examination will be a Computer Based Test. Each candidate will be appointed a computer at TS LAWCET Exam Center only. It is suggested that each test taker must practice through ‘Online Test Series’ only (available shortly).
The examination tests the following abilities of candidates:
Telangana Law CET offers two programs. Both the papers have same sections but the difficulty level varies. Tabulated below is the section-wise distribution:

In case of more than one candidate obtaining same marks, the following criteria will be followed:
There is no official syllabus set for TS LAWCET 2019. The exam will have three parts and will evaluate candidates across various parameters.
The section is divided into two subsections namely general knowledge and mental ability. General knowledge means Static knowledge/ facts that have happened before. It could be related to people/ places/ things etc.
Some of the frequently asked topics are:
Preparation Tip(s): To score better, read Lucent’s GK book or GK book by GK Pub. Mental Ability, regularly practice logical and analytical questions related to verbal/non-verbal series, blood relationships, analytical reasoning, linear arrangements, etc.
Answer questions that are formulated on the basis of ongoing news topics and current affairs. This implies that candidates must remain up-to-date with the significant and essential events and occurrences taking place across the world.
Preparation Tip(s): Regularly read newspapers and magazines.
Candidates appearing for exam will be tested on the basis of their elementary knowledge regarding the basic principles of the Law and Constitution of India.
