GUJCET 2027: Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus, Result

GUJCET 2027 is the Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admission to B.E., B.Tech, and B.Pharm courses in Gujarat colleges. Conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), the exam is expected in March or April 2027. Based on the GUJCET 2026 pattern, the GUJCET 2027 registration is likely to open in December 2026, and the result will be declared in May 2027.

What is GUJCET 2027?

GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by GSEB every year for students who want admission in engineering and pharmacy colleges in Gujarat. More than 1.5 lakh students appear for GUJCET every year, competing for seats in government and private colleges across the state.

ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) conducts the seat allotment process after the exam. Your GUJCET score along with Class 12 marks together decide your merit rank for GUJCET counselling.

GUJCET 2027 Result and Merit List

GSEB declares the GUJCET result online on gseb.org about 5 to 6 weeks after the exam. The GUJCET 2026 result came out on May 4, 2026. For GUJCET 2027, the result is expected in May 2027.

Your GUJCET result will show your subject-wise marks and percentile score. ACPC uses this score combined with your Class 12 marks to calculate your merit rank for admission.

How to Check GUJCET 2027 Result

  • Step 1: Visit gseb.org after the result is declared
  • Step 2: Click on the GUJCET 2027 Result link
  • Step 3: Enter your registration number and date of birth
  • Step 4: Your scorecard will appear on screen
  • Step 5: Check your marks and percentile
  • Step 6: Download and save your scorecard for ACPC counselling

What the GUJCET Scorecard Shows

  • Marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology
  • Total GUJCET marks out of 120
  • Your GUJCET percentile score
  • Candidate personal and registration details

The GUJCET result only shows your exam performance. Your merit rank for ACPC counselling is separate and is calculated after you register on the ACPC portal. ACPC uses a 60:40 formula for this.

"The ACPC merit rank is calculated using 60% weightage from Class 12 PCM or PCB theory marks and 40% weightage from the GUJCET percentile score. Students must complete a separate registration on the ACPC portal to appear in the merit list."

Based on GUJCET 2026, where the notification came on December 15, 2025, and registration opened on December 16, 2025, a similar timeline is expected for 2027. Keep checking gseb.org and the GUJCET registration page for official updates.

What is the GUJCET 2027 exam date?

The official GUJCET 2027 exam date has not been announced yet. Based on previous years, the exam is usually held in the last week of March. GUJCET 2026 was on March 29, 2026, and GUJCET 2025 was on March 23, 2025. Check GUJCET 2027 latest updates for confirmed dates once the notification is out.

What is the GUJCET 2027 syllabus?

The GUJCET syllabus is based on GSEB Class 12 science topics that follow NCERT. It covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for pharmacy. Both Class 11 and Class 12 topics are included. You can download the GUJCET 2027 syllabus PDF from the official website once it is released.

Is there negative marking in GUJCET 2027?

Yes, GUJCET has negative marking. You lose 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. There is no penalty for questions you leave unattempted. If you are not sure about an answer, it is safer to skip it rather than guess. See the full GUJCET exam pattern for more details on marking.

What is the eligibility for GUJCET 2027?

You need to have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering, or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for pharmacy. You should have at least 45% marks in PCM or PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC). You also need to be a Gujarat domicile or have studied in Gujarat. Read the full GUJCET eligibility criteria for all conditions.

How is ACPC merit rank calculated for GUJCET 2027?

ACPC combines your Class 12 PCM or PCB theory board marks with your GUJCET percentile. Class 12 marks carry 60% weightage and GUJCET percentile carries 40% weightage. Your GUJCET rank from GSEB and your ACPC merit rank are different. You must register separately on the ACPC portal after the result. Check the GUJCET counselling process for step-by-step details.

Can I apply for GUJCET 2027 if I am from outside Gujarat?

Yes, you can apply for GUJCET even if you are not from Gujarat. However, non-domicile students are placed in a separate category for ACPC counselling. Most seats in government colleges are reserved for Gujarat domicile students. You can still get admission to private colleges under the non-domicile quota.

What is a good score in GUJCET 2027?

A score of 90 or more out of 120 is considered a good GUJCET score. With 90+ marks you can expect a rank in the top 4,000. For top government colleges like LDCE Ahmedabad’s Computer Science branch, you typically need 100+ marks. For mid-range private colleges, 60 to 70 marks may still get you a decent branch. Use the GUJCET marks vs rank tool to estimate your position.

How many students appear for GUJCET every year?

More than 1.5 lakh students appear for GUJCET every year. In GUJCET 2026, around 1.6 lakh students registered. The number has grown consistently, which makes competition tighter – especially for Computer Science and IT seats in government colleges.

Where can I download the GUJCET 2027 answer key?

GSEB releases the official GUJCET answer key a few days after the exam on gseb.org. You can also check the GUJCET answer key page on Collegedunia for quick access. The answer key helps you estimate your score before the official result is out.

When will GUJCET 2027 result be declared?
