GUJCET 2020 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board) conducts the state level offline test GUJCET(Gujarat Common Entrance Test) for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in 112 participating institutes. GUJCET 2020 will be conducted on March 31, 2020 in offline mode. Candidates will have to answer a total of 120 questions in the span of 3 hours.

Candidates are required to fill in their desired mode of language during the application process. The exam pattern varies for candidates who are planning to give the B.Tech examination and gain entry into an engineering college and those who are planning to give the B.Pharma examination and gain entry into a pharmacy college. GUJCET 2020 exam consists of a total of 120 questions. The maximum marks of the examination will be 120 marks. Here is the subject wise tabulation of a number of questions, subjects and marks allotted to each subject. The subject wise breakdown will follow.

Every correct answer will be allotted one mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be given or deducted for an unanswered question.
GUJCET will comprise questions from the class 11th and 12th syllabus as approved by GSEB Board. The GSEB board will release the official GUJCET 2020 syllabus soon. The answer is to be recorded in an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet that will be given with the question paper in the examination hall. There are a few guidelines candidates should follow:

Ans. The candidate is required to darken the alternative ‘D’ in the given circle in the OMR sheet.
If any changes are made after darkening the circle once, it will not be accepted. The negative marking will be applicable for such answers.

Ques. Can I give GUJCET again?
Ans. There is no limit on attempts for GUJCET. However, since is only conducted once a year, candidates will have to wait for a whole calendar year to give the exam again.
Ques. Can CBSE students give GUJCET 2020?
Ans. Yes, CBSE students can give GUJCET 2020 since it is a recognized board.
Ques. Is there any negative marking for GUJCET?
Ans. Yes, as per the GUJCET 2020 exam pattern, candidates will be penalized 0.25 points for every question that they answer incorrectly.
Ques. What is the GUJCET Application Fee?
Ans. GUJCET 2020 Application fee is INR 300 and it can be done through any SBI Epay System (credit card/debit card/ net banking) or from any SBI branch of the country.
