• Demand Draft (DD): Drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore — submit this at the time of campus reporting

How to Pay VITEEE 2026 Balance Fee Online

Follow these steps to pay the balance fee and confirm your VIT admission before July 4, 2026.

1. Visit viteee.vit.ac.in or log in to the VTOP portal of your allotted VIT campus.
2. Enter your application number and password to log in.
3. Click on Fee Payment and select Balance Fee from the menu.
4. Verify the fee amount displayed for your campus and programme.
5. Select your payment mode — net banking, credit card or debit card.
6. Complete the transaction and wait for the payment confirmation screen.
7. Download and save your payment receipt immediately — you will need it at campus reporting.

If you are paying via Demand Draft, draw the DD in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology and carry it when you report physically to your allotted campus for document verification.

Steps After Paying the Balance Fee

Once the balance fee is paid your seat at VIT is confirmed. Complete the steps below to finish your admission process.

1. Log in to the VTOP portal of your allotted VIT campus.
2. Upload all required documents for online certificate verification.
3. Download your seat allotment letter from the VITEEE counselling portal.
4. Check the physical reporting schedule announced by VIT and report to campus on the specified date.

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
• Transfer certificate and conduct certificate
• Seat allotment letter

What Happens if You Miss the Deadline

If you do not pay the balance fee by July 4, 2026, your VITEEE 2026 seat allotment will be cancelled automatically. VIT does not process late payments after the published deadline.

• The counselling registration fee of ₹5,900 is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• Since Phase 5 is the final round there is no subsequent counselling round to recover a cancelled seat.
• If you face a technical issue on the payment portal contact VIT’s admission helpdesk immediately — do not wait until the last day.
• Complete the payment at least 24 hours before the deadline to avoid last-minute gateway failures.
