VITEEE Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the +2/Intermediate examination. Candidates from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to appear in VITEEE 2020.

To become eligible for VITEEE 2020 candidates have to fulfill various criteria like age limit, nationality, etc. Those who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programmes. They are also eligible for ECE with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg (Spec.in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as a bridge course is mandatory.

Ques. How many people wrote VITEEE in 2019?
Ans. More than 2 Lakh students had appeared for VITEEE 2019. This year exam is scheduled to be held in 120 test cities across India and 4 international cities, Dubai, Muscat, Qatar, and Kuwait. VITEEE is conducted in computer based mode in the English language only. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
Ques. Is there any dress code for VITEEE 2020?
Ans. No, there is no dress code to be followed while appearing for the exam. All the details related to exam center, exam timings and other rules and regulations will be mentioned in your admit card. VITEEE 2020 is an online entrance exam that has four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Candidates going for B. Tech Biotechnology have to opt for Biology instead of Mathematics.
Ques. Can only Indian nationals apply for VITEEE 2020?
Ans. Candidates who are residents of India will be able to apply for VITEEE 2020. Non-residents of India will be eligible for the examination and admission process. Foreign applicants will be able to apply through the application form for foreign nationals.
Ques. What are the degree requirements for foreign applicants?
Ans. The candidate should have any pre-University examination or intermediate through a recognized board or University
The candidate should have a high school certification from Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
The candidate should possess General Certificate Education (GCE) from Cambridge / London / Sri Lanka with an advanced “A” level
All candidates who have studied full time, regular and formal education will be eligible for VITEEE 2020
Ques. What are the eligibility requirements for applicants from the SC / ST Category?
Ans. Applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern conditions of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura need identification proofs to prove nationality.
Candidates who are unable to provide the documents won’t be considered for admission to the University. Also, applicants have to provide given certificates in original form as proof of their age at the time of counselling.
