VITEEE Preparation is essential to score high in VIT Engineering Entrance Exam. VITEEE is a national level entrance examination for engineering aspirants conducted by prestigious VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology). VIT University aims to assess candidates on the basis of speed, time-management and decision-making power besides their academic knowledge. Thereby, all the candidates must thoroughly familiarize themselves with the VITEEE Exam Patternbefore they begin with VITEEE Preparation. VITEEE 2018 is one of the most prominent entrance tests in the country. The duration of VITEEE 2018 is 2 hours 30 minutes. It would be conducted in three sessions per day. The medium of exam is English. There are a total of 4 sections in the test – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and English. Candidates have to attempt PCB + English or PCM + English on the basis of subject they have applied for.

There is no negative marking in VITEEE. Hence, attempt as many questions as possible without worrying about the marks.
While preparing, candidates must stick to VITEEE syllabus. By and large, it consists the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. Candidates must divide the whole syllabus into feasible sections and make sure each section is not overflowing. All the sections must be focused and planned on weekly on daily basis. Candidates must not waste time on the topics which are not covered by the syllabus and stick to the core.
A daily plan of scheduled studying hours must be made to know how much to cover daily. Studying in an ordered manner will reap you better results. A proper study plan also helps in better organisation of study hours and preparation process.
The most important factor in the preparation process of VITEEE is time management. Smart time management is important as it fetches you a better output. Candidates must not go for multi-tasking. Short breaks should be taken at regular intervals to relieve stress.
Revision for any exam is a must. Otherwise, your preparation remains incomplete. Candidates must not make the revision process very tiring. Use flash cards and notes made earlier in the revision process. These flash cards must be used only in the last days of revision process when not much time is remaining for VITEEE 2018.
The weaker sections must be focused in a measured way. When preparing, specific time must be given to them. Do not get stuck on the them but try to improve gradually. Till the exam, prepare every section with equal time and effort and aim to excel in each.

Vinay Soni cracked VITEEE in 2012 with a percentile score of 98. Vinay suggests focussing on NCERT textbooks in detail. He also advises to solve all the questions given at the back of every chapter of NCERT books. For mathematics, Vinay suggests to solve EAMCET. Sanket R cleared VITEEE 2012 with 94 percentile. He says, “Practising with a focused mind can make your weak areas just as the strong ones. So, practice hard to get selected in your dream institute”. Abhay Garg cracked VITEEE 2015 with 86 percentile score. Abhay says, “Solve more and more questions along with solutions of the wrong marked questions”. Abhay suggests, the only thing to have first is confidence. Attempt questions and you will gain confidence eventually.
