- The college gym is neat and clean and most importantly free.
- The admission process is easy and simple...i got my admission for b.e through my cutoff which is 94.9 in 2021..msc courses have entrance exam and it is pretty easy too.. admission process in cit is not pretty hard
- Placement cell provide a lot of opportunities for the students by bringing great companies for recruitment
Dislikes
- Food in hostel is not much good. sometimes it's not tasty
- The hostel mess food is not very good and the mess workers are overworked and underpaid.
- Hostel food.its not worth for pay and it's not good too

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course would be valuable and the course hand out will be very clear and easy to understand.The staff would be supportive and friendly and help us in clearing out doubts. There will be 2 midsemester in every semester whose duration is 6 months.

- The way of teaching and help applying our knowledge in practical class is much use full.
- The fee structure for the course and the have the policy that only getting exam fee not getting any additional fees during the course
- The most important is placement,they provide huge number of opportunities for the placement.
Dislikes
- They didn't give more importance to sport activities.
- And they only provide the less seat for hostel ,remaining they won't.
- And has less canteen and no space for relax our time like bench and chair outside the classroom
Placement Experience:
It has good placement record around decades and decades.where you can check the college website. They give the asurity if that if the student is will in placement there is plenty of opportunities in the college. Around 180 approx and company can visit our college. They is possibility of 90 per student can get placed in the batch. It also bring many dream and non dream company.the highest package vist is 52lpa and they took around 5 members in a batch.the overall placement was good

- i really love the campus as it is fully covered with trees and plants.
- the extra curricular activities and symposium are the best here.our college encourages sports so much
- the teachers are so friendly and have so much knowledge on subjects

the placements in Coimbatore institute of technology is one of the best in Coimbatore.
the highest package was 52lpa this year
more than 150 companies visited our college
and most of my classmates are placed and they are doing their internship now.
while other are trying different entrance exam for higher studies

- I liked the course plan design of the college
- Staffs are extremely talented who can guide as for future
- Food will be good but will not be great.

- Sports activities are very restricted in campus.
- Hostels are very old and they don't even take measures to renovate
Course Curriculum Overview:
Yeah it was great. It covers most of the mandatory subjects like operationg system, DBMS, Software engineering, Datastructures and algorithm and many more. There are around 200 electives available which you can opt after completion of 2nd year

- I liked the infrastructure of the campus. The campus has segregated seperate blocks for each department therefore making it a great campus to visit in.The buildings are tremendous and includes all the workshops and cafetine items.Good arechitecture..
- The canteen in the campus is good and all the foods are in affordable prices.
- The campus ground is impressive.The campus has track and football filed to play in.Various sports can be conducted simultaneously.It has indoor games and several other track events.There is a cricket pitch in the campus ,where various events occurs..
Dislikes
- The parking facilities is very limited and congested.
- Limited number of fans and lights in the classroom.
- Hostel foods and other hostel room facilities are not up to the mark

1)The curriculum includes core courses in computer science fundamentals such as programming languages,data structures and operating system.These are the foundational course for computer students.
2)The curriculum has both theortical concepts and practical skills relevant to real world applications in the field of computer science and engineering.
3)Can conduct more industrial visits to improve the knowledge about the real world industries.

Placement Experience:
CIT is known for its wonderful placements.In my academic year the highest offer was around 50LPA by deshaw and co. The average placement offer was around 7 LPA. Placement by CIT is above average .It is better roi.

- The staffs are friendly and supportive and help you in all the aspects.
- There are many clubs you can take part in. So a lot of extra curricular activities.
- Placements are remarkable. The average placements range from 10lpa.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the building might be a little bit old
- All the departments will be located in one building. There are no separate buildings for each department.
- There are no AC's in labs. Especially Computer labs does not have AC.
Placement Experience:
The placements are extraordinary in CIT. Specifically our year(2024), the highest package was 52 lpa. Companies come to college by the end of 3rd year itself. They recruit students for internships as well as full-time.
The number of companies visited would be around 150. More than 500 students got placed. Few companies which recruit from CIT are D.E.Shaw,EXL Health,Soliton,Appviewx,Toshiba,KLA,Aqfer,MBRDI,Thorogood,Oracle,ARM,Commvault,Schneider,LNTCaratlane,TATA Elxsi,Bosch,HPE,Informatica,EY,Deloitte,Zoho,Accenture,TCS etc..
More than 90% of the students got placed.

- I likes the subjects we studied in our course
- the faculty members are friendly and helping to gain skills.

- the play ground it is like old building for seating.
- there is no hostel for the lateral entry students
Placement Experience:
most of the students got placed in an company. at the starting of 7th semester the students are eligible for the placements. companies like tcs, accenture, kanini, accolite, de shaw, tiger analytics, l&t, schneider electric, etc. highest package is 52lpa and average is 5lpa. 75% of the students got placed. my plan will be going to company.

- The hostel mess food is not very good and the mess workers are overworked and underpaid.
- The hostel buildings are very bad and conjusted.
- The canteen food is a little overpriced, could be a bit affordable.
Placement Experience:
Many quality companies come here for placements. This year(2023-2024) about 150 companies have visited our college for placement. Most of the companies offer good package. For students who didn't get placed in campus, the college provides many off campus opportunities for the students to work on.

Previous records of placement is very good but now a days due to recession , it is average , as only few companies are open for hiring itself and intake is also less , these were major drawbacks last year
