Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of SXC recruits students for working in many brands and companies. At least in the B.Sc. and B.Com. courses, from the second year (3rd semester) onwards students are eligible for registration to placements. The companies that recruit students are mainly from the pharmaceutical, software and academic sectors. Some of them are the Tata Consultancy Services, Jp Morgan, Reckitt Benckiser, Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys and Flipkart. The package pertaining to these companies typically range between INR 3 L to INR 20.5 L. Around 70 to 80 % of the students get placed regularly in the top companies each and every year. After getting the bachelors degree, I plan to pursue a Masters in Chemistry and delve deeper into the extensive research carried out in this field of science.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. I won’t say exceptional but they’re good. You have giants like EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Google, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata, PwC, etc visiting the campus every year. These are just to name a few. In addition to this there are also local businesses or start ups that give Xavier's a visit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA in English is a very future-proof course for getting a job in the IT companies and I liked the course from the very beginning, that's why I chose the course. There are very good faculties present in the college (About 10-12 faculties in every Department) and the number of students is about 60-70 every department in every year. Every faculty members are MA qualified. Their teaching quality is very good, they explain the topic very simply so that everyone can understand the topic. There are 4 internal theory exams in each semester. If everyone classes regularly then they can easily pass the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from the batch of 2020. The most unlucky batch ever. We have crossed sem 3 but still, I haven't seen my college. Some faculties are really good. I can't take the professor's name but you will see it in sem 1. The professor of Probability Theory from sem 1 and 2 is my favorite. We studied online what is NOT favourable for learning statistics. But I can Say Statistics is one of the Most Beautiful Subjects out there. You will realize the real-life use of statistics very soon and the use is very very vast. We have 7 to 8 professors in the stat department. And in our batch we have 55 students.
