IGNOU OPENNET 2020 application form will be available tentatively till July 15, 2020. Candidates interested to appear for the entrance examination that will be conducted in the month of August. Registration and application process will be conducted only through the offline mode.
IGNOU OPENNET 2020 is a university level exam conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. It is a portal for admitting aspirants into the Post Basic BSc Nursing programs offered by the affiliated institutes of the university.
Application forms will release in the month of June 2020 and will be accepted until mid-July. Aspirants must browse the official website for updates about the ongoing processes of the exam. Important dates regarding IGNOU OPENNET 2020 Application process are given as below:

Eligibility criterion for IGNOU OPENNET 2020 is as laid down by the university. Individuals must ensure that they meet the eligibility norms before applying for the entrance exam. Candidates of Indian origin as also Foreign Nationals can apply for the exam. However, the admission process for international students will be different than Indian citizens and will be mentioned in the prospectus provided by the university.
There is no upper age limit prescribed to be eligible for IGNOU OPENNET 2020 and to apply for the exam.

IGNOU OPENNET 2020 Application forms will be available on the official website and at the university center. Candidates can collect the application forms from the IGNOU regional center in person or by post. They must visit the university office to avail the application form and prospectus.
Students can also download the forms from the official website of the university. Application forms can be submitted through the offline mode only. Only those participants who apply for OPENNET 2020 by rendering the prescribed application fees can appear for the test.

Q. After submission of the IGNOU OPENNET 2020 application form, am I permitted to make changes in the form?
A. No. Students cannot make changes in their application form. The details in the forms once submitted to the university cannot be altered and any request for the same will not be granted.
Q. Can the IGNOU OPENNET 2020 application be cancelled and a request for a refund generated after the submission of the prescribed application fees?
A. No. The application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. It will not be refunded under any circumstance whatsoever.
Q. Are candidates required to send the hard copy of the application form by post to the organizing body? Do they have to attach any other necessary documents?
A. Yes. Aspirants will have to send the application form by post or deliver it by hand to the authority. However, they will not be required to attach any documents along with the form. The documents will be required only at the time of counseling for verification and confirmation of admission.
Q. Can multiple forms be submitted and the fees for one form be adjusted to the other?
A. No. Multiple forms cannot be submitted under any unavoidable circumstance. If any candidate submits more than one application form, his candidature will not be considered for admission if identified at any stage.
Q. What is the procedure of selection for the exam?
A. Admission for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program for January 2020 session will be done region wise on the basis of merit in common entrance test. Students who qualify the exam will be short-listed for the counseling round conducted by the university and its affiliates.
