Important: Neither IIM Indore nor IIM Rohtak offers a re-checking or re-evaluation facility after the result. The answer-key objection window — which closed before the final key was published — was the only opportunity to dispute a scoring decision.

IPMAT 2026 Qualifying Marks and Cutoff

IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak use completely different cutoff structures. This distinction matters — a strong overall score won’t save you at IIM Indore if even one section falls below its minimum.

IIM Indore — Sectional Cutoffs 2026

IIM Indore sets a separate minimum for each of the three sections. You must cross all three simultaneously to qualify for the PI shortlist. Falling short in any one section — even by a single mark — disqualifies you, regardless of how well you did in the other two.

IIM Rohtak — Overall Cutoff 2026

IIM Rohtak sets a single overall score as the qualifying bar — there are no sectional minimums. Your total score across all sections determines your eligibility. A very high score in your stronger sections can make up for a relatively weaker one, unlike at IIM Indore.

If you are on the PI shortlist, your IPMAT 2026 journey has one more step. If you are not shortlisted, this year’s cycle ends here — but the path forward is worth knowing.

If you are shortlisted — next steps for IIM Indore:

• Personal Interview (PI): Conducted in the third week of July 2026, online. Shortlisted candidates received PI call letters with specific dates, login links, and document requirements. The PI is a 15–30 minute one-on-one interview — no GD or WAT round at IIM Indore.
• Final Merit List: Expected in the first week of August 2026. IIM Indore publishes the merit list based on a composite of aptitude test score and PI performance. Class 12 marks carry no weight. Candidates are ranked separately within each category.
• Admission Offer: Candidates on the final merit list receive an admission offer. Once you accept and complete the fee payment, your seat is secured for the five-year IPM programme starting in the 2026–31 academic session.
