JEECUP 2020 Counselling (Registration), Schedule, Procedure and Seat Allotment

    JEECUP Result 2020 will be declared tentatively on June 20, 2020 for the exam conducted on April 26 by Joint Entrance Examination Council, UP. Candidates can access JEECUP 2020 Result by logging into the official website using their Roll Number and Date of Birth.

    • Result of 1st Seat Allotment of JEECUP 2020 Direct Admission Round will be announced tentatively on August 5.
    • The result of JEECUP Result 2020 will be declared tentatively on June 20, 2020.
    • Scorecards were made available online and were not sent via post to any of the qualified applicants.
    • State Open Rank will be used for all the groups separately for seat allocation.

    JEECUP 2020 Reservation of Seats

    As per the rules of the UP Government, the reservation will be provided to the following categories:

    How to Check the JEECUP 2020 Result?

    Follow the steps given below to download the JEECUP result 2020.

    • Visit the official website for JEECUP i.e. jeecup.org
    • Enter your roll number and date of birth
    • Click on submit button
    • JEECUP 2020 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
    • Download the result and take a print out.
    • The result will display the actual marks secured by the applicants in the entrance examination.

    JEECUP 2020 Answer Key

    • JEECUP 2020 Answer key has been released on the official website i.e. jeecup.nic.in
    • Applicants can submit the challenges tentatively till June 17, 2020.
    • To challenge one official answer key response, the applicant has to submit a challan of INR 100.
    • The challan can be paid using online mode upon logging into the website using application number and password.

    1. Visit the official website for JEECUP i.e. jeecup.nic.in
    2. Login using the roll number and question booklet number.
    3. Click on the Submit button to view OMR sheets and download official answer keys.
    4. A new window in pdf format will be opened.
    5. View online or save on your computer.

    Note: In case any applicant finds that there is any mistake in the official answer key and their answer response is correct; they can raise a challenge. Applicants should also provide evidence supporting their challenge or else it will not be considered and will lead to rejection.


    JEECUP 2020 Merit List

    JEECUP 2020 Merit List will be available on the official website.

    • The merit list will be prepared based on the secured by the candidates.
    • Joint Entrance Examination Council will be responsible for listing the merit and updating it on the official website.
    • In case of a tie between two applicants, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying examination will be given preference.
    • Additionally, in the case of the tie in qualifying examination, the candidate who is elder will be given preference.
    • A combined merit list with and roll numbers of the applicants will be displayed.
    • Category based merit list will also be displayed on the website.

    JEECUP 2020 Cut off

    • The cut-off list will only be available after the declaration of the result.
    • The cut off is the minimum marks required to be selected for the JEECUP 2020 counseling.
    • JEECUP 2020 Cut off list will be declared for all the courses.
    • The cut off will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination.
    • The counseling will be conducted after the cut off list and merit lists are published.

    JEECUP 2020 Counselling Procedure

    Based on the candidate’s marks obtained in the entrance exam, the seats will be allotted followed by the counselling procedure based on their merit, choices filled by them and reservation criteria. The given below procedure has to be followed by the candidates through online mode:

    • The online counselling will be conducted in four rounds.
    • Candidates have to do registration with the JEECUP roll number and password.
    • Candidates have to pay INR 250 as a counseling fee through SBI MOPS (credit card/debit card/net banking/ Challan, etc.).
    • After successful submission of fee candidates will be allowed to fill the choices.
    • The colleges and courses will be appeared as per the candidate’s category in which they can fill and lock their choices in order of their preference.
    • There is no limit to filing choices for the candidates.
    • Candidates can download their seat allotment result by entering the roll number and date of birth.
    • If the candidate is allotted the college, they have to submit INR 3000 for a seat acceptance fee on given dates.
    • Candidates have to report the reporting centers for the document verification.
    • After document verification candidates can go for admission in the allotted institution.
