The scorecard does not use a pass/fail label — LPU does not frame LPUNEST results that way. Your score places you in or out of a scholarship bracket, and any score above the programme’s minimum eligibility threshold qualifies you for a seat. A lower score still gets you in — just without a scholarship. A higher score opens better slabs and gives you first access to popular branches before seats fill up.

If you see any discrepancy in your name, Application ID, or date of birth on the downloaded scorecard, report it to LPU’s admission office right away with your registration confirmation as proof. Corrections are accepted only within a short window after result declaration — do not wait until campus reporting day to raise an error.

LPUNEST 2026 Qualifying Marks and Scholarship Categories

LPUNEST is not an elimination exam. There is no hard cutoff below which you cannot get a seat at LPU — admission eligibility depends on your Class 12 percentage and programme-specific conditions, not solely on LPUNEST score. What your LPUNEST score decides is your scholarship category and, through that, your effective cost of attending LPU.

A score of 212 is the key dividing line for most B.Tech aspirants — it is the lowest score that takes you from Category C (50%) to Category B (60%), saving an additional 10% on tuition every year. At current B.Tech fee levels at LPU, crossing 212 can translate to a meaningful difference in total programme cost. Scoring 300 or above gets you into Category A, which at 70% is the highest LPUNEST-specific slab.

LPU also offers merit-based scholarships on top of the LPUNEST bracket for students with exceptional JEE Main scores, top board marks, or national-level achievements in sports or culture. Seats not taken up by Phase 1–3 candidates — either because they did not pay the booking fee or were waitlisted — re-enter the pool as carry-forward vacancies for Phase 4. Your scorecard is ready. Now here is what to do next, in order, to complete your admission to LPU for 2026–27:

• Step 1 — Download and check your scorecard: Verify your name, Application ID, score, and scholarship category. If anything looks wrong, report it to LPU’s admission helpline right away with your registration confirmation. Do not wait until campus day to raise an error — corrections have a short window.
• Step 2 — Calculate your net cost: Use your scholarship category to work out the effective annual fee. If you are in Category B (60% waiver), you pay 40% of the annual tuition each year. Compare this with any JEE Main or board-based scholarship you may qualify for — take whichever gives you the larger total waiver.
• Step 3 — Apply for your preferred programme: Log in to the LPU admission portal, check live seat availability, and submit your programme application. High-demand branches like CSE (AI & ML) fill up fast in Phase 4 — apply as soon as possible.
• Step 4 — Pay the seat booking fee: This locks your provisional seat. Without this payment, your application stays open and the seat remains available to others in the queue.
• Step 5 — Upload documents: Submit scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 certificates, photo ID, and photographs on the portal. Physical verification happens when you report to campus.
