PUCAT 2019 Application Form

PUCAT 2019 Application forms will be available from March 16, 2019. The application process will be conducted only through the online mode. Aspirants must go through the information brochure uploaded on the official website to know the eligibility criteria and other updates. PUCAT 2019 will be scheduled for June 10, 2019 (tentative).

PUCAT 2019 Eligibility

PUCAT 2019 eligibility criterion is as set up by the VBS Purvanchal University. Only those participants who meet the eligibility requirements should register for the entrance exam. The various criteria are as stated below:

Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to appear for PUCAT 2019. Certain domicile requirements should be fulfilled by candidates in order to be eligible for the entrance test.

Educational Qualification: -

  • For admission in various UG courses, students must have secured an aggregate of 45% in the higher secondary or intermediate examination with the respective compulsory subjects according to the program they wish to pursue.
  • To secure admission in any PG course, applicants must have obtained at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam of the Bachelor’s degree with regards to the course they have applied for.
  • All reserved category individuals will be granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying intermediate or graduate degree exam. This means that they should pass the exam with at least 40% marks to be eligible for the admission test.
  • Participants who are awaiting their result of the qualifying examination are also eligible for the test provided they can submit the necessary documents at the time of PUCAT 2019 counselling.

How to fill PUCAT 2019 Application form?

PUCAT 2019 Application forms will be available on the official website Candidates should download the application forms from the website and submit them at the university. Participants who apply for the combined admission test by paying the prescribed application fees can appear for the test.

PUCAT 2019 application process comprises of 3 main steps- Downloading the Application Form, Filling of Application Form and Submitting the form at the University.

Pre-requisites for filling PUCAT 2019 Application Form-

  • Valid mobile number and email ID
  • Good internet connectivity with an updated web browser
  • Printer connected to the computer
  • Copies of required documents

Step 1: Downloading the PUCAT 2019 Application form

  • Log on to the official website of the VBS Purvanchal University.
  • Select on the ‘Admission’ tab and click on the link related to ‘PUCAT Admission Notice 2019’.
  • Aspirants must then click on the respective links of ‘PUCAT Application form’ and ‘PUCAT Information Brochure’ for downloading them.
  • Read all the information regarding the exam given in the brochure and print out the application form.

Step 2: Filling the Application Form

  • To apply for PUCAT, individuals must enter a few basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Email-id, State of domicile, Mobile Phone Number, School last studied, Academic qualification, Course applied for, etc. on the application form.
  • They must be careful while filling up the details and should remember that all entries should be filled in neat hand writing.
  • Participants will be required to put their signature in the space provided in the form. The university will reject all application forms without signature of the candidate.

Step 3: Submitting the Application Form

  • The application forms complete in every sense must be delivered to the university in person or by registered post within the stipulated time.
  • Students will have to attach self-attested copies of all the required documents along with a demand draft of the application fees. The fees for General/ OBC category applicants is INR 200 while for SC/ ST students, it is INR 150.
  • The demand draft should be of a nationalized bank drawn in the name of ‘Finance Officer, V. B. S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur- 222003’. Aspirants must mention their name and contact details on the backside of the DD.
  • Candidate also has to attach 2 self-addressed envelopes each of size 5 x 11.5 inches and stamps of INR 25.
  • The duly filled application form, fee demand draft along with the self-attested requisites must be sent to the following address-

Students who want to secure admission into various courses offered by the VBS Purvanchal University must fill the application form and send it to the university office within the stipulated time.

PUCAT 2019 Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1 After submission of PUCAT 2019 application form, am I permitted to make any alterations in the information provided in the form?

Ans. NO. The details filled in the application form cannot be modified once it has been submitted to the university. Hence, aspirants should be careful while filling up the form.

Q.2 Final result/ Mark memo of the qualifying examination is not available due to delay in publication of result. Is such a candidate eligible for PUCAT 2019?

Ans. YES. Students awaiting their result of the qualifying exam are eligible to appear for the combined admission test provided they can submit the mark sheet at reporting center at the time of admission.

Q.3 How should an individual submit the PUCAT 2019 application fee?

Ans. The application fee can be submitted only by using a Demand Draft. No other mode of rendering the fees is available. Candidates can refer to the information mentioned in this article to know how the DD should be submitted.

Q.4Can the PUCAT 2019 application be cancelled and a request for a refund generated after the submission of the prescribed application fees?

Ans. NO. The application fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable and the VBS Purvanchal University will not entertain any requests pertaining to the same.

Q.5 The application form did not reach the university due to postal delay. What should be done?

Ans. The university will not take responsibility for delay caused in receiving the applications. Such applications will merely be rejected.
