UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Exam Date has been postponed from May 19, 2021 due to a fresh wave of COVID 19. The rescheduled exam date will be notified shortly according to the official notification. UP B.Ed exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based), by the Uttar Pradesh Education Board and the University of Lucknow. UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Admit Card will also be delayed due to the postponement of UP B.Ed Entrance exam by Lucknow University.

UP B.Ed JEE 2021 is a state-level entrance exam organized by Lucknow University to offer admissions in 2 years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses. Around 2.5 lakh B.Ed Seats are to be filled through UP B.Ed JEE 2021 in govt and private institutes of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 55% marks in graduation to satisfy UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Eligibility.

  • The exam will be conducted across 15 cities of Uttar Pradesh state.

UP B.ED JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the exam will have to satisfy UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling up the application form. Given below are the eligibility criteria laid down by the exam conducting body.

Age limit

  • The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years old to apply for UP B.Ed JEE 2021.
  • There is no upper age limit for the exam

Citizenship/residential criteria

Candidates must be a citizen of India. Candidates should also fulfill the status of local residents and satisfy the domicile criteria.

Academic qualification

  • A candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% in graduation from a Central or state-recognized university.
  • Candidates who graduated with a Bachelor of Technology or Engineering need to obtain a minimum of 55 percent in mathematics, science and other subjects.
  • Those applying on the basis of a Post Graduate degree need 50 percent marks.

UP B.ED JEE Application

UP B.ED JEE 2021 Application Form

UP B.Ed JEE Application Form will be released on February 18, 2021, in online mode. Before filling up the application form, candidates must be ready with documents like scanned images of photograph, signature, and aadhar number. The application form can only be submitted after the successful fee payment. Given below are the steps to apply for UP B.Ed JEE 2021 

Part 1: Registration

  1. Candidates can fill the online application form from the official website i.e. lkouniv.ac.in/en/article/bed-2021
  2. To fill the online application form click on “Candidate Registration” link.
  3. Enters Candidate’s  credentials like
  • Candidates Name
  • Date of birth
  • Aadhar number etc.
  1. After filling all the credentials click on ‘submit’
  2. After the successful submission of application form candidate will get a 9 digit registration number.

Part 2: Completing and printing the Application Form

  1. After the successful fee payment click on the link ‘Submit Application Form’
  2. To submit the Application Form candidates have to fill the Transaction ID and date of birth.
  3. Click on the link ‘Submit’ button.
  4. After submitting the Application form candidates have to upload scanned images.
  • Candidates have to upload a scanned photograph in jpg format. The size of the image should not be more than 50 kb.
  • Candidates also have to upload a scanned signature in jpg format. The image size should not be more than 20 kb.
  • The scanned images should be recent and colored.
  1. Check the filled details and click on the final submission.
  2. After successful submission, take a printout of the application for future references.

Candidates can download their UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Admit Card from the official website. Admit cards can only be obtained in online mode. Candidates must carry their admit card on the exam date along with photo ID proof. Without the admit card entry to the exam hall will be prohibited.

UP B.ED JEE 2021 Exam Pattern

UP B.ED JEE Exam Pattern consists of two papers that will be held on the same day. Both the papers will consist of 100 questions each and every question will have 2 marks for correct answers. The exam pattern for UP B.Ed JEE varies from each paper as mentioned below.

  • Duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
  • Every correct answer will result in an addition of 2 marks.
  • There is a negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong answer.

Ques. What is UP B.Ed JEE?

Ans. UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is a state-level entrance exam for admissions to B.Ed courses in various state government/ aided/ private institutions in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 272 colleges participate in the admissions process through the UP B.Ed JEE exam.

Ques. What is the academic qualification required for UP B.Ed JEE 2021?

Ans. Applicants must have obtained Bachelors in any discipline from any of the state/ central government recognized institution. They must have secured at least 55% marks at graduate level. Postgraduate applicants must have secured 50% marks in PG course.

As you have done post graduation in MBA, you are eligible with 65% as minimum required aggregate is 50% in PG course. Those with UG degree only need to acquire a minimum of 55% to be eligible. Yes as you are a post graduate with MBA and aggregate of 65%, you are very much eligible to apply as minimum required aggregate is 50% at PG level. Also minimum age limit is 21 years and there is no upper age limit applicable for the exam. Another criteria of eligibility is nationality which states that a candidate must be a citizen of India.
